    Sweet Jesus. What a talent.
  2. I've read the enchilada thread. I knew what I was up against, but this thread is about working with what you have. It's a fine line.
  3. . Pulled pork burritos enchilada style. We only had flour tortillas on hand.
  4. Why didn’t the insurance company not find it suspicious that they wanted the start date pushed back? What would be the point other than to file a claim? I’m not defending la bbq, but the insurance co shares some liability for being incompetent.
  5. Husband's invention. I smoked some pork yesterday. He warmed it up in a frying pan with some of the fat, added microwave shells and cheese, leftover cup of Rudy's bbq sauce, some actual real shredded cheese, and some Texas Texas medium salsa. It needed some red onion, but we're out. He loved it. I'm happy for him.
  6. Is a cutaway just a looks thing or is there another purpose?
  7. I'm not getting the audio during the bar/arrest scenes. I'm only hearing the interview with the husband constantly.
  8. I've noticed something about you. You insist upon yourself. Why is that?

    Hotdogs

    This is an odd take.
  10. Yes. Take your original birth certificate, marriage license, and a utility bill just to be safe. I wish I was kidding.
  11. There's beans in that chili. Out.
  12. Is there corn in there? Ewww.
  13. My dude. That is a good system. It liquifies in the pan.
  14. If you have a sharp enough knife, it can be sliced frozen.
  15. I might check that out. Good video. I've had success with buying peeled garlic from HEB and freezing it. I pull out a clove or two as needed. No issues thus far.

  17. That’s a good point. I use a large rocking chef’s knife. Makes it easier to control and then mince.
  18. Smash it flat first with your knife and the heel of your hand. It will still stick to the knife, but it makes it much easier to dice.
  19. Yeah, I should sell these a bit. You can't go wrong with Peacock Alley. They are extremely soft and durable. They fit our king bed well and we have zero issues that you describe. They are often available at Tuesday Morning if you like bargain hunting because they are expensive. There's also an outlet off of I-30 in Dallas.
