  1. so, for Brees vs. Brady round 3, I see the running game being the difference. I finally found info. about Jones. He was injured during pre-game, quad. Hoping it is a minor injury, looking for both teams to be at full strength. If Jones is out, it makes the game even tighter, and Brady has to do more passing.
  2. I lived in McKinney, and Ronald Jones went from staring in high school to USC, where he was an 1800 yards + rusher for Sark. https://www.buccaneers.com/team/players-roster/ronald-jones
  3. What is wrong with Romo and Nantz? talking over each other, Romo not interested in being there, etc. and then it occurred to me they may not be there at the stadium? Whatever is happening, I am giving them a few more minutes and then putting it on mute.
  4. Just googled colt retired and got nothing. I figured he was done, but his only comments were for a Newsday article about trying to play again next year.
  5. Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay, McKinney North alum, not on stat sheet. I think he is injured. He and Fournette give the Bucs a two-headed monster they will need to go up against whoever they play next week. I've seen Bucs highlights and they both work very well in the Bucs offense. Brady has two very good backs to hand off, and Fournette is the better receiver, and of course Evans, Gronk to throw to. The next Tampa Bay game might be for the NFC championship.
  6. I don't know a damn thing, but it does appear strange that Nick would allow his OC, DC, etc. to go to the same school, unless he was at least giving serious consideration to retiring. Pretend he likes Sark a bunch and has been helping Sark work on his management skills. Dabo gets first shot at the 'bama job anyway. Nick knows this stuff. He's not gonna waste time trying to pitch for his current OC to be his successor when he knows the ultimate 'bama alum lives one neighborhood over. Nick knows a few things, I imagine. One of those is that Urban has given up trying to catch him. Nick will be 70 this year, and probably has a few things he would like to do other than coach football. Hopefully he will go out Monday night after his 7th National Championship. He wins Monday night, he is the GOAT- no debate about it. He is already tied with the Bear. Why come back after all of that? It is almost a foregone conclusion that nobody will ever catch 7 NCs.
  7. ok watch Sea try to make it look good. 60 yards in 4 plays.
  8. U beat me to it. I was gonna question that to the nth degree. LA deserves to lose next week for that kind of bs.
  9. Is it time for Seattle to move on from Pete?
  10. LA net 35 before the fumble. I will count it as 35. Add 16 more(51-35) to Mike's total....+76!
  11. Mike 51.
  12. Game almost over 10 points looking impressive.
  13. ...entering 4th quarter, 132 for La, 139 for Mike add 7 more to total...+60.
  14. La....37, 46, 49.
  15. ...and 57.
  16. 2nd half, net 36 and 46.
  17. Closing out first half in hidden yardage, Dickson punted 4 times compared to Rams punters 3 times. Ram punters net avg. is 41, so I will pencil him in for 41 to bookend Dicksons last net of 59...difference of 18...add 18 to 35 mentioned earlier, and we have hidden yardage for Mike of + 53 yards. Never thought of it much before, but I wonder what the record is for hidden yardage in a playoff game? Would be fun to look up some of Guys hidden yardage amounts. Raiders were in plenty of playoff games.
  18. Net 59, on the 7!
  19. What happened to Seattle D?
  20. Add 4 more yards to hidden yards on exchange of punts and Mike is now +35.
  21. And net 48, downed at the five! Damn, I want to be Michaels agent!
  22. After 2 sets of punt exchanges, Dickson is plus 31 in yards, and the Rams punter is no slouch.
  23. 2nd punt net 53......hidden yardage far outdistancing Seattle’s official negative yardage.
  24. Ok. Playoff punting...keeping track, first punt net 57 yards! I am including holding penalty against return team.
  25. dang, scrappy great win in the clutch. I watched every minute. Team overcame the oc92 possible jinx, trailing almost the entire game. Refs bug me the most with the coddling of number one, either because he's a Wooden candidate or because he plays for Huggins. Glad to see Shaka come out of his shell in the 2nd half, at least compared to last season. Andrew Jones is the man! Shaka, it's okay to get after the refs before the 2nd half as well. Refs were intimidated by Huggins today? maybe every time he coaches, I don't know. Great win! Keep on working!
