  1. -2. What say you?
  2. Don’t forget Biden promised to appoint some republicans. IMO, this is first promise to be broken. I just don’t see it. Maybe in a very low level position. But an actual cabinet level position? Maybe there is a position low enough for that republican who appeared at the DNC?
  3. Hiden Biden strategy was a loser. Almost cost him. He was forced to come out. BLM and violence in democratic run cities was a loser for democrats. Democrats noticed and I didn’t hear anything from blm the last 3 weeks. biggest, still the basic. People vote for president on personality. Trumps negative personality was far more important than any policy either side had.
  4. After gg, anybody wanna bet they check every quarterbacks eyes very carefully?
  5. Hugely Important position....not always talked about...chief of staff.. Maybe Pete or Abrams....I remember reading about Reagan’s chief during his first term. Everybody was worried how the actor would behave, and boy did he! Chief was the reason why.
  6. I sure can see this. Cdc informs the group he has met with someone with a powerful impact on the future of program. Cant say anything else. Tells you hang in there.
  7. Warren has to be there. She was one of the candidates who quit for Joe. She should get first dibs.
  8. YES! I was one of the many on hf site who called for GG to get many passing snaps. All MB had to do was decide, do we go for Heisman for Colt and let him throw the entire game, or do we pull him early to let GG throw so he can be ready for relief or to be ready for the next season. MB pussed and decided neither. Gonna have GG hand off the entire time he is on the field. Dumbest coaching move ever? Maybe. Especially considering we all knew about Colt's injury history. This was an easy first guess. No second guessing. The most ridiculous part was the schedule was set up for GG to get an entire half of action, playing the Florida directional school in November. GG could have passed 20 times easily in 2nd half of that game. Think about this: GG was on target in the Rose Bowl after just a few passes, but the dropped TD that was crucial was a perfect example of a receiver not being used to the ball. His velocity and spin were different.
  9. I have been teaching in Alaska since 2018. Had to take a cultural studies course. Old lady...native Alaskan taught. We learned that natives do not value ideas such as weigh, count, or measure. I hardly ever said anything, but explained my position that it was important for young hs graduates to be able to weigh, count, measure, so they could survive in a modern world. I gave the grocery store example. This idea got a negative reaction by one student and the teacher ignored the conversation. Bottom line. I am not surprised. They may never count the votes.
  10. I agree the people like to split their ticket. Now the question is how long joe lasts, and how it affects mid terms. If joe doesn’t look healthy enough to make it through his entire term, voters might vote heavy r in 2022 to insulate against Harris.
  11. Just looked at site. First time. I could buy no to more than 9 Supreme Court justices at any time during 21 for 91 cents. Looks like free money to me. It goes to $1.00 on January 1, 2022, correct? So that’s a return of 10% over 13 + months. But, fees? How much? How long has site been around?
  12. Is line down to 4 yet?
  13. yeah, fox is down.
  14. ....and here is a fairly recent example: I was interested in whether anonymity was possible, and it is. https://www.fairvote.org/faithless_electors 2004 - Anonymous (Democrat, Minnesota) An unknown elector from Minnesota, pledged to vote for Democrat John Kerry, cast a presidential vote instead for Kerry’s running mate John Edwards (the elector also cast his or her vice presidential vote for Edwards). One Minnesota elector, who believed the Edwards vote must have been a mistake, said, "I'm certainly glad the Electoral College isn't separated by one vote."
  15. By my math the race looks like this: 270 for Biden, 268 for Trump. I am saying Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania for Trump. Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin for Biden. https://www.fairvote.org/faithless_elector_state_laws All the Trump campaign has to do is find one faithless elector in a blue state to change his/her vote. That would throw the race into a tie. Looks like Wisconsin or Oregon are prime targets, because evidently there is no penalty, and the vote gets counted.
  16. Looks like both nc and us will be 6 and 4. Maybe we meet in bowl game, Mack vs. interim coach.
  17. Trying to put myself in Urbans shoes...goal is to catch Saban...which place is easiest, Texas or sc? I am guessing sc recruits nationally, but far more travel...but look at talent in Texas. Urb has to be thinking he could win big 12 conference in a year. He could end up in the playoffs in year 3, win nc in year 4, etc. what advantages does sc hold?
  18. Just to clear things..am I correct that we committed 0 Turnovers to OSUs 4, plus a roughing kicker on 4th and 22, plus a kickoff return for a td, and we still had to go to ot? I count the kickoff return as worth 2 turnovers....I get a total of plus 7 on the turnovers(I count the roughing as a turnover) That is enough to cover the next two games...Without a doubt we should go minus 6 or 7 the next two games combined to even out the number. This is about a 95% chance imo that we lose the next 2 games. Not rooting for a loss, but being realistic. I know it has happened, but I don’t remember a time a team was effectively plus 7 in turnovers.
  19. um...OSU gave us 4 turnovers PLUS a kickoff return, PLUS a roughing kicker penalty, and we still had to go to OT. Seriously, how many teams remaining will give us those 6 huge breaks? I predict 0.
  20. Even at 4 this appears to be easy money.
  21. I predict the line to be down to 4 by kick. We trail 21 to 0 with 10 minutes left in 2nd quarter.
  22. Cdc wants to preserve his reputation, I presume, as an ad that makes excellent hires. If we finish 7 and 3 or worse and Tom comes back, I think it will be because overtures were made and Urban didn’t agree. No extensions or raises, nothing during offseason, and next year we go 6 and 6 or whatever, and buyouts for everyone go down. This is copying a previous event in our history. After the 1984 freedom bowl massacre that nobody was interested in, everybody in Austin knew Fred needed to go, just a matter of time. Our leaders waited two more years to make a move. When did everybody in Austin know Tom needed to go? I think it was that moment in Dallas this year, when he decided to go to ot. Instead of trying to win the game in regulation. Some people are saying this is the worst ou team in 20 years. i don’t expect leadership to wait 2 years, but it would not surprise me to see a one year wait.
  23. Understandably, because we can see the product. But, even with all parties on board, do you really expect cdc to fire during the season?
  24. Since every game is a coin flip, we can expect a 6 and 4 record, and no championship game, sort of equivalent of a 7 and 5 season without COVID. If someone presented the idea that 7 and 5 is your record, cdc would have to conclude that is not good enough to welcome Tom back. But, is cdc motivated to move on after 6 and 4? To me, I still maintain we have to wait until we are out of the championship game before we can feel confident the change is coming.
