  1. Recap. You started by responding to my post and said "we won 6-3 when Beck was playing..." which was wrong. I posted a clever meme ... "not sure I agree with your police work." You challenged that with another post which was wrong. Then, you edited it, because it was wrong. And then you fire off with the "dumbass?" To all of that noise I say:
  2. Ok, I'll be more clear and less clever. You're wrong. Specifically, the part where you said: The last play of the game for Beck was the last play of the first half. Georgia QB Carson Beck returns from hand injury for final snap in SEC championship OT win over Texas – CBS17.com Now is when you say "that doesn't count because... reasons."
  3. Beck's qbr for the CCG was 59.5 Quinn's was 70.6 Honest question, does that mean our QB played better than theirs and we still lost?
  4. Weren’t there some Wingo targets in the end zone? could some of yall line out for me how Quinn screwed those up? Also, where’s the “if arch wasn’t such a shitty holder thread, auburn would have hit” thread? I’ve got some strong words for that one.
  5. Not what I said, friendo. I said "Get him some cushy deal like Fatterson had. That fiery mf'er almost ripped his own ear off one day." Didn't Sark hire Fatterson to be special assistant for offensive production or something? Throw back Fatterson or whoever is sitting in his spot, and get me Muschamp. Truthfully, the Defense doesn't need any help. But, I still would rather that lunatic be on the Texas sideline than the Georgia sideline.
  6. If you told me that, today, I could trade straight up, Kirby for Sark, I would say no f'ing way. I believe Sark is the better coach and I like his style better. Kirby is the lesser of the two and is insufferable. If you told me I could trade, straight up, for any coach, coordinator, etc. in college football, the only change I would make would be to try to get Muschamp. Get him some cushy deal like Fatterson had. That fiery mf'er almost ripped his own ear off one day. Also, I can't wait until someone plows kirby over in the white area next to the sideline and we get a gif of him getting blasted, visor flying and all. That will be a glorious day.
  7. If you told me to come up with metrics for Sark at the beginning of the year I would have come up with something like: Beat ou Beat aggy Win NC Win CCG Beat Michigan. These are listed in order of importance to me. My point is that the CCG was icing, never the cake, at least for me. I understand it's an extra fu to the haters, but I want to win it all and we still can. Oh, and along the subject of icing on the cake, Oregon, Ohio and Georgia are the best teams we'll face in the playoff and although we lost the CCG, we may have slept they first round draft pick qb, which means our odds of beating them next time are probably better. Oh, and we've got Arch lined up for next year with the number one class on the way for the spring. And so from my seats I grade Sark as something like an A-. Now you can all go back to your regularly scheduled programming and calling him a dumbass.
  8. If they won 8 this year with a new coach and Jimbo's bare cupboard, surely they'll get 10 or 11 next year, right?
  9. Question: With all the dust settled, if aggy had won one of Auburn or SCar, would they be in the CCG?
  10. Being that it's 'croot time and Christmas, can someone retell the "ass my dude" story?
  11. In response to the posts above about yell practice and yell leaders, put me in charge and I'll fix all that stuff lickety-split and have them "modernized" and "full of hype," by next August. My simple change? Female yell leaders with a coach from one of Houston's "gentleman's establishments." Add some skin, some wiggle, and errbody will forgive the chigaroom and the weird dance moves. If they still need some dudes in jumpsuits, give them the cannon duties. It's not like the current operators have it perfected.
  12. I don't know man. From where I'm sitting, I'm not sure it's a "respectable" 8-4. It includes wins over... McNeese Bowling Green New Mexico State
  13. Is your point that we should leave QE in for these situations, or use an RB. I can't tell. Arch plays special teams too. Ya know what that means?
  14. This thread brings me down. As best I can tell, after reviewing all of this professional analysis, 1. Our superstar QB is irretrievably broken 2. Our coach is stupid or crooked 3. Our only hope for success is to start the backup which won't happen because see #2. Does this mean we're going to lose to the agroids and then head back to the wilderness like the end of the Mack years? It all seems so clear.
  15. Is the $$ not a "real digital currency?" Why/why not?
  16. When I log in to my bank account, it shows money balances that look like this $350. I'm using this number as an example, it is not the actual number. I can use that online portal to send money to other places, including Amazon, who will then send me stuff. Is that not digital currency? I never see the paper dollars or the gold in fort knox or have to go to the federal reserve to make a demand, I just use digital means to move numbers around and people give me things for it. I am going to call that digital currency, even if you don't. It aint paper and it aint wampum. I think people that don't like the dollar, don't like rules around the dollar, or want to hedge the dollar, want an alternative. Bitcoin seems to be the frontrunner from where I'm sitting. I will say that, as of today, I don't need a digital wallet and I don't need to mine anything - I have access to and regularly use digital currency.
  17. Isn’t there an argument that ETH’s stable price increases its utility? I want to go buy some carrots with my bitcoin and holy shit, I don’t know what it’s worth today, $12,000? $80,000? I didn’t say increases it’s value but, as far as usefulness, wild value fluctuations are the things of banana republics, rite?
  18. So the risk is "0%" and "very unlikely," and "potentially vulnerable to a 51% network attack." I'm sticking with what I said which was "What happens when someone decides to amend and edit the software/plan and create some more? Not smart enough to know but I'm sure people will say "that will never happen." I've seen a few impossible things become possible, in the last decade, so I wouldn't guarantee anything." And, I think it is likely that Bitcoin code/system/network, whatever you call it, was manmade... by humans... in the past. I also think it is likely that there are humans who are now actively trying to "hack" it. Either for profit or to be disruptive. As difficult as it may be to imagine, if I'm correct, these humans actively trying to hack it, now and tomorrow, will have access to AI and greater computing power than those original creators. They may beat the unbeatable system, or they may not.
  19. Agree. Here's where I landed, and I have no desire to Cloak Room up this place, but if we're discussing a bitcoin which, arguably, is a currency (I understand there are theories that it is a system, a store of value, a ponzi scheme, etc.), then I think I can compare it to the world's "reserve currency" which is the US Dollar. Disclaimer, these thoughts are not particularly well organized. The US money supply (I'm going to use M2 but I'm sure there are better measures and some econ grad student can point that out) was +- $11trillion dollars in 2014. A decade later there are +- 22trillion, "in supply." I know this does not equal printed dollar bills in someone's stack. Inflation makes my 2024 dollar worth less than my 2014 dollar. And, if my dollar is backed by the full faith and credit... and the US has more debt, then there is an argument that my dollar is devalued by government borrowing, while inflation makes the government debt amount cost less, and on-and-on. So, bitcoin is capped in supply. 21million as I understand it. What happens when someone decides to amend and edit the software/plan and create some more? Not smart enough to know but I'm sure people will say "that will never happen." I've seen a few impossible things become possible, in the last decade, so I wouldn't guarantee anything. Take all of this as amateur and uninformed economics but, a dollar is of variable value and there is a variable quantity of dollars. A bitcoin is of variable value and there is a fixed (for now) quantity of bitcoins. One is backed by the federal government which brings with it a hearty appetite for borrowing, one is backed by holders' trust and faith in its future. The USD is the world's reserve currency and for many reasons, many people don't like that. Many people would like an alternative. It may be BTC - too early to tell and likely not permanent. One is declining in value, as to the other. One is increasing in value, as to the other. One is widely accepted around the world. One is gaining acceptance. Which one will win? I've got a majority of my small stack in USD things, and a minority in BTC things. What is a USD thing? A share of BRK/B is in many ways, cash. I never hold the certificate in my hand - I guess I could try to have one issued - but instead hold it in some e-wallet at a broker. Relative to the dollar, it increases in value, sometimes. I hope it goes fast. I think because of government policies, froth, desire for change, rebellion and lack of alternate suitable reserve currencies, for now, BTC will go up for a while. Might come down in a real hurry too. Hacker rewrites the code so that everyone gets a blue screen? Scrambles the data so nobody knows who owns what? Counterfeiting? There is risk out there. Top - unknown. Floor - $0.
  20. Of course not. That's not how internet works. I did get in on IBIT at $30, which is nice. I have increased my holding in that and BTCO over time and am sitting on some nice gains in both spots. And by nice I mean the best performers I've ever had, if you consider the increase percentage and the short time frame. When it goes to $0, I'll lose less of a gain than you will, and will feel better about my $0 than you will. Then we'll fight with guns and sticks in the streets like The Road.
  21. Anybody drive to Colorado on the reg? To ski, buy the MJ, or just listen to John Denver - i don't care. I've done it a few times and learned a few things. Last time, stopped for dinner in 'rillo, ate at the Big Texan because I'm a red blooded 'merican, and then drove to Dumas to stay at the Holiday Inn express. Thinking about doing it again a day or two after Christmas - head to an I-70 destination. I'm looking for tips, stories, interesting things to see, and ways to pass the long drive across Texas. From Dallas, what ski resort is the best bang for the buck? I don't mean cheapest but, is Aspen better than Vail? How much better? Is Vail better than Breckenridge? I've been to Park City Winter Park, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Jhole, and Ruidoso (which I won't repeat). Is Crested Butte an easier drive? Is there a shortcut to Telluride that shaves 4 hours off the trip?
  22. This is why we need a purge-like free for all weekend. Somebody disses you, retribution time.
