  1. So the left isn’t exploiting a tragedy by using it to call out the right for exploiting a tragedy by using it to call out the left for exploiting a tragedy? That’s what we’re going with liberals? Okay
  2. These two dogs, Eddie and Keela are tiptop. they can roll with me anywhere.
  3. Watching my wife try to text back and forth instructions and details with our yard guy Juan, who is super cool, but has pretty bad English, is fucking awesome.
  4. My parents bribed my way into college. I'm not that smart, just born wealthy.
  5. I’m in broken bow, ok for a few days. The pond here is supposably stocked with bass. Any ideas on how to catch a stocked bass? Simple instructions better - I will be drinking.
  6. I’ve actually used one of these on a super hot no-wind day on Galveston bay. no tp so I used an old t-shirt to handle the paperwork. Washed the whole thing overboard and the damned t- shirt floated. Had a bubble trapped within. No wind so me and 30 other boats just sat there watching my skid stained t-shirt float around. Sorry for partying.
  7. Can we get some photos of the shitter? Does it have adequate amenities?
  8. The steps behind the wheels, they look hinged, amirite? Why fold them over? Upwind vs downwind? For travel does the bulb stay on the fin or nah? thanks for sharing. I’m enjoying watching the build. I bet you’re happy to see hardware going on.
  9. American competitiveness paired with heterosexual muscle.
  10. I have no idea how it works. Usually when I'm there it's for work. I've learned a few survival tips: 1. Stay at the Aloft 2. When lunchtime rolls around say "I would really like a chicken fried steak, can you recommend the best place?" at least 5 times. The correct answer is the Longhorn Tavern Steakhouse, they all know it, and I think it's funny as shit making aggy say "the best chicken fried steak is at the longhorn steakhouse." Bonus points if you act dumb and say "the best chicken fried steak in college station is at a restaurant called the longhorn? that's funny." and then watch the reactions. 3. Lupe Tortilla for dinner, sit in the back. 4. Don't go out looking for nightlife - stay at the bar at the Aloft.
  11. State science Olympiad is in aggy town. My child is in. F. Me.

  14. There was no scurvy, but there were shenanigans and misadventures. you can do this yourself - sign up - https://www.spiritofsc.org/employment/
  15. Does that grinder pedestal have a gear shift option or is it single speed? If it does shift, how does it shift? Controlled by the guy on the handles or the guy on the winch?
  16. Short version - scholastic suspension for excessive and sustained awesomeness resulted in me involuntarily leaving college. Wealthy friend’s mother got me a job sailing on a tall ship in January of 1996. I had sailed a lot but never anything made of wood. Mostly racing small boats. I had some good fortune - deckhand on tallship turned into deckhand on tallship sailing a goodwill tour for the Boston beer company. 420 cases of SA loaded on board - head to Bristol without delay. beer parties in England, Ireland, Holland, France and Spain for May- October of 1996. if youve watched Master and Commander you’ve seen the HMS Surprise. Before that it was named HMS Rose and was my ride for that year. https://web.archive.org/web/19980623184446/http://www.tallshiprose.org/log/status0596.html
  17. I sailed across the Atlantic with a 6 hour stop in Horta. Boston to Bristol - 29 days. Find an opportunity to do 3-6 days offshore before you make any large commitment to circumnavigating - having been offshore on a boat a lot, I can say it’s different than you imagine. You sleep in 2-4 hour spurts and shot always breaks when you’re sleeping and it’s dark. oh, and g650 - shut the fuck up about 29 days, in advance. I know that’s slow. It was a traditionally rigged vessel full of beer and it just wouldn’t go upwind. P.s. if you want to do it for free - there’s this. http://www.sailtraining.org/billet/billet.php
  18. I’m waiting on my wife to drop something off at a friends house. Sitting in car watching neighbor kids play. They have a mini-bike. The old school little motorcycle you pull cord start. Older kid about 15 showing them all how it’s done, gonna teach the younger kids proper operation technique. He just crashed the fuck out of it into a parked car. Funny - it dragged him down driveway and across street accelerating all the way. no serious injuries, shorts ripped and some skin lost but that’s it, I’m happy now, this is the best thing I’ve seen all day.
  19. Imperial ton is bigger. aggy has an imperial ton.
  20. Mark me down as "in" on the river architecture tour. I'm not a big "architecture" guy but there's some history, some legend, and a few helpful hints on that tour, and it's a good way to see the city. I did it last July, and would go again. There is a full bar on the river boat.

I spend 3 days each March in Memphis coaching kids soccer. If you decide Memphis is a "must-do," I would go to the civil rights museum, and then go to Central BBQ for a snack, and then go to Beale to watch the flippers. All that should take less than 8 hours and, at that point, you'll want to get the f___ out of Memphis and go anywhere else. Anywhere. If you want to spend more than 8 hours in Memphis, you must know something I don't, because I think it pretty much sucks.
  22. Sunny isles beach. fly into FLL and Uber to acqualina. Dinner outside there or at the Hyde. Breakfast on your balcony. If you get bored, head south. Until then sit your ass on a padded lounge chair and watch the thong parade. remember the little flag routine at panchos Mexican buffet? Your lounge chair has a flag - you know the drill - whatever you want they’ll bring it. the finest everything - cars, shopping, nightlife, fishing, hotels, dining is all at your fingertips, with a Russian Lyft/Uber driver to narrate.
  23. Tennis isn’t exactly the egalitarian sport I would hold up to demonstrate that skiing is “only rich white people.” Do you see a lot of tennis down at the boys club? No? I bet they have a pool there though, don’t they? Your comparison sucks.
  24. This is like a modern day kon- tiki, with stewardesses. A riveting tale.
  25. This guy is a regular aggy war hero. From his regent bio: While at Texas A&M, he served as a Battalion Commander in the Corps of Cadets. Upon graduation, Mr. Buzbee was named a Distinguished Naval Graduate, Distinguished Student and was recognized as the Outstanding NROTC Senior in the Corps of Cadets, as well as the Outstanding Commander in the Corps of Cadets. The Buzbee Leadership Learning Center, located on the Quad, is named in his honor. Mr. Buzbee served in the United States Marine Corps in the Persian Gulf and Somalian conflicts, earning the rank of Captain, where he received various awards including the prestigious Navy Commendation Medal. batallion commander and distinguished naval graduate and he watched people steal all his stuff from his home while his weapon malfunctioned? there are only two possibilities - his military training left him inadequately prepared for action; or he’s runnin a scam.
