That's an option as well
My story from 2013.
My daughter is 6 years old and I've got 2 tickets. Take the wife or daughter? Daughter has never been to a game. Wife says "take daughter."
Grey, rainy day. We get on dart and it's packed and it's 95% mobilehoma fats. Daughter is intimidated by the crowd and she realizes we're the minority and the majority looks scary. I kneel down and tell her "don't worry, we may not win today, but we'll get to see Bevo and have some fun." She's nervous - she's 6.
We're late because DART sucks and stuff happened, trying to get into cotton bowl we hear them fire smokey. That's Whaley scoring a touchdown. I look at her and say "that's a good sign, we better get in there."
We get to our seats, the sun comes out, and we experienced gridiron glory that day. Case showed up to ball. Daje housed a punt.
Family restroom right behind our seats was a big bonus. Daughter had a smile glued on her face the entire time and horns up.
We sang "hey hey hey goodbye" to the land thieves for a large part of the 4th quarter.
That day we were loud, we wore orange, and we stayed late walking around eating corndogs and enjoying the Texas State Fair, the proud victors of the greatest game in college football.
tl:dr - leave early if you're taking dart; take your kid to this game - you'll make a longhorn for life; ou sucks.
