  1. The game isn’t slow enough for Quinn either apparently. Quinn makes freshman mistakes regularly and turns the ball over half of his games. Sark has clearly limited our playbook for Quinn. Quinn is a single read QB. Please don’t try to pretend he is good at going through his progressions. Lulz. This is my point. Arch may not be perfect but the supposed freshman issues are the same issues our 3rd year starter has. This has nothing to do with respect. Absolute clown reply.
  2. He was last in aDOT going into the Florida game and his completion percentage on balls traveling more than 10 air yards was like 49%.
  3. Someone just tell me what the negatives are of going with Arch compared to Quinn? What does Quinn do that we think Arch cannot? Great retort.
  4. We had people blaming the oline for Quinn’s play yesterday. They gave up 2 “sacks” and one hurry lol. It’s amazing. I mean this is just absolutely not true at all.
  5. must have missed all those deep balls he hit and throws over the middle.
  6. If anyone here should not use the word disingenuous it’s you. He doesn’t throw anything over the middle of the field, at all. He doesn’t attack the sideline well at all. He can make single read throws to receivers that are shorter than 10 yards. That’s our offense other than him misplacing balls to wide open receivers.
  7. Arch played 2 total drives in that game. I’m also not sure how he “did some shit dumber than Quinn”. What game were you watching. You might be saying he’s struggling but you also act as though hes somehow head and shoulders above Arch. If Quinn was playing like a 3rd year starter this wouldn’t be a conversation. Quinn is playing like a freshman afraid of college athletes and unable to process the speed of the game. He also turns the ball over in half the games he plays. So what’s the difference between him and Arch in your mind? What makes him a better option right now?
  8. Right. Quinn regularly looks like a shitty inexperienced QB agains even bad defenses.
  9. Rod Babers and Bobby Burton were openly talking about Quinn losing the job if we lost that game. Thats how bad he was.
  10. I’m sure he will have limitations. Here’s the limitation he doesn’t have: he can complete passes other than screens.
  11. I’m not emotional about anything and not sure where you’re getting that. The calling card is he can throw screens. Great. That’s definitely the hard part of playing QB. Quinn is the limiting factor to this offense.
  12. No shit being able to do that is a big deal. It would be a bigger deal if there weren’t dozens of QB able to do it. What the fuck are we talking about here? Those are 10-15 yard throws with no defensive pressure on the person receiving the ball. It’s not exactly the most difficult part of the job.
  13. Being able to put the ball on target for passes behind the line of scrimmage shouldn’t be a badge of honor for a QB on the #3 team in the country. That is one of the dumber narratives Quinn defenders have stuck too. ”but he’s great at ball placement on passes behind the LOS”
  14. It’s also amazing how much @Thatguy has had to shift his narrative about what’s actually happening. He clearly sees that he’s just wrong about who Quinn is but still feels the need to spin spin spin
  15. “I listed his shortcomings so I could have a pass to make more excuses” We literally won the game yesterday because we lined up and ran right at them for the entire 4th quarter. The safety’s staying high wasn’t the problem. Quinn missing open receivers regularly and panicking in the pocket was. He had their safeties beat deep and couldn’t find targets. The whole reason for the screen game is to get safety’s to step up and we watched it happen for a TD. The problem is Quinn can’t do anything to punish anyone without a perfectly designed single read pass play.
  16. We ran for 140 yards yesterday and Blue averaged almost 6 yards a carry. Our RBs need to be better but that ain’t the reason Quinn sucks. It’s just another excuse you give instead of seeing the actual problem.
  17. Uncatchable targets are an actual measure teams use. No team would grade that as catchable.
  18. No NFL or college team will list that as a catchable target.
