This new era of college football has been terrible for the bowl games.

ESPN is going to be working on rule changes.

What are they going to do?

Institute a last 6/4 games plus bowls/CFP play/no-play deadline (similar to a trading deadline) to force players to make their opt-out decisions more painful since they'd be affecting the regular season games?

That would push this junk into the most important parts of the regular season.

I don't see how they'd make the bowls "better" -- do you want a 64-team CFP instead?  Lulz.

I can't believe it's a tradition that has only been around since 1978!!

Not surprising at all for a school that started out as an all-girls school, only became coed in 1947.

It's not like they instantly added everything when men joined the student body, and in the first year, that was only about 1,000 men. That must've been an interesting "process."  Lulz.

if his arm wasn't going forward, how'd the ball go forward?

    Bounced off his body/doesn't matter.

There wasn't a throwing motion made with the ball in his hand, so without the throwing motion with the ball in his hand going forward, the ball going forward by itself is a fumble.

There's no football rule that says the equivalent of, that when behind the line of scrimmage, that anytime a ball goes foward in any fashion (even without a throwing motion) from a player, the ball going forward must be by-defintion a pass and not a fumble.

A pass has always been defined by a throwing motion with the ball in the hand going forward, not the ball somehow happening to go forward without being held in the hand.

That ball wasn't thrown. I liken that play to Garo Yepremian's spaztacular non-throw in Super Bowl VII.  Lulz.

I have nothing against the 12 team playoff. I think they should have had a playoff long ago just like every other division in college football. But this isn't basketball. Every year there are maybe 2 to 5 teams that can actually win it.

I think this year there are 3. Texas,  Bama,  uw. Both of these teams would have been in a 12 team playoff and that's silly. Texas is up 89-3 in the first half on the shit osu ran out there. That's why I think Michigan has no prayer. The big 10 is shit football and osu proved that tonight.

Whatever. Monday can't get here soon enough.

They're not The BIG SLOW TEN for nothing!  Lulz.

    any general advice?

I'm certain @General Specific has some!  Lulz.

And there are plenty of gorgeous Japanese women:
Haruka Ayase, Yui Aragaki, Mei Nagano, Mai Shiraishi, Kyoka Fujisawa, Noriko Fukuda, Yuzuki Gushima, Kyoko Fukada, Aki Shibuya, etc.

The hell? Please tell me you're Japanese...otherwise you need a shot for the yellow fever.

    Nope!

    I like white and "yellow".

Except Japanese aren't very "yellow" at all-- most I've met have whiter skin than my white skin.  Lulz.
