It's not plexiglass. It's fence. Back wall has a ton of dents in it from home runs so heads up.

If that's fence, I wonder how quickly it goes away when Texas outfielders jack-up their wrists/shoulders/etc. careening into that fence.

What’s the remedy if one panel shatters? Similar to a backboard shattering in a BB game.

    Hook’em!!!

I'll be impressed if they have the NHL-level quick craftsmen ready and on-hand to replace broken plexiglass, which happens in NHL games all the time.

Otherwise you suspend the game, OR the umps say, "Play-on!" and tell both benches, "Don't run through the wall there!" Lulz.

  3. Linktree links to the game.

Not-So-Subtle hint at the starter tonight? Lulz.

Anyone found tonight's lineup yet?  It's not on The Texas Baseball Twitter/X, nor on TexasSports that I can find through the gamenotes/game-program/previews/blurbs.

No, it's like a townhall deal.  But there's a reception either right before or after that's invite only.  I've got my daughter's recital during it, lemme dig it up and see if I can forward it to you and you can hit him up in smaller environs.  I genuinely enjoy talking baseball with him because he has some cool ideas for the future of our facilities.  Gimme a few, if I don't get it to you...texassports should have the details on tonight's open forum deal at Hogg.  Parking will be a bitch though.

Parking has never NOT been a bitch on The 40 Acres.  Lulz.

One week from today we will be overreacting to small sample sizes and complaining about the pitching staff after every walk!

Keeping in mind that our pitching staff walking in runs is Not Our Standard.  Lulz.

From Canton, Ohio, went to a catholic prep school there, then neuter-dumb for a BA and the '66 MNC.

Then he got his JD at U of Minnesota law school and worked as an attorney in the offseasons -- all during his NFL playing career for the Vikes.

I watched Page play on TV in the mud and snow of the old outdoor Metropolitan Stadium that they played in back then--- Chuck Foreman (#44), Fran Tarkenton (#10), and one Bobby Moore (#28 - later changed his name to Ahmad Rashad) were some of his teammates.

Alan Page worked doing construction when he was young and still in Canton, Ohio, and actually helped build the Pro Football Hall of Fame building where he would be enshrined in years later.

I was too young for 1978-80 Oilers and 1981 Rockets but thank god the Rockets came along in 1994 & 1995 because Oilers 1991-93 was the fucking worst shit ever.

I did yell out "I am not a curse" from the 3rd base line at Rosenblatt after Oniveros fielded the final out in the 2002 College World Series as the dogpile was going on.  We then proceeded to party with the Street family at Starsky's immediately after the game with a celebratory meal of steak the Drover (72nd & Mercy).

Texas needs to figure shit out fast because we're 18 years and counting since baseball & football and infinity years and counting in basketball and IDGAF about the rest 😉

It's funny you fail to mention the '82-'83 Oilers, led by one Archie Manning at the helm.

Also funny in this picture is how Archie's about to bail from the pocket because of pressure from a former Texas Longhorns 2-time All-American Kenneth Sims.

Texas is one of very few programs that doesn't play FCS games, programs don't get knocked for winning those games. It's more important to have a P5 non-con opponent, and preferably a high level one, because a win in that game can make a difference. I'm happy to see OSU playing Oregon and Alabama, even Nebraska and Arkansas are respectable and could be really good or really bad by the time those games come up.

The Bugeaters (nebraska) must be still mad at Pacific for dropping football, since that was the Bugeaters' guaranteed win every year.  Lulz.

Just need an assistant shadowing Sark with their phone or ipad opened to Surl's game thread and refresh every so often to give him direct in-the-moment feedback on what he's doing wrong in a game. Problem solved.

So when Sark says "FUCK!" 30 times in a row while looking at the tablet, we'll know what he's looking at.   Lulz.
