  1. I don’t understand the no call. Either the play is live and it’s a block in the back or it’s inconsequential/dead play and unnecessary roughness. You can’t just erase it. But still, Washington is completing passes before the defense even knows what is going on. Just completely outclassed.
  2. One coach has a 90% career win percentage and one had never won 9 before this season. Sark has done a legitimately fantastic job as a program builder but not at all surprised DeBoer is coaching circles around him in a one game situation
  3. *gestures generally at game*
  4. Washington is a fantastically well coached team. Dude has a 90% career winning percentage for a reason.
  5. Yeah their offense is barely even being challenged. I don’t really have it in me to be upset. This was always on the table. If anyone didn’t think so that’s on them.
  6. I mean , this but unironically. 12-1 with an outright Big 12 championship and a CFP appearance. For me this game is house money. I want to win obviously but it’s a great year anyway
  7. It was atrocious on that third and eight, and was obvious pre snap. Any HS QB makes that throw. The TD, yeah. They are very good. Should not be a surprise.
  8. These are pros against a college secondary, a pretty average one at that. Texas has to score every time they touch the ball and get another turnover/ST luck changing type play
  9. They muffed a punt to gift us a TD and cost themselves points with some extremely vanilla third and fourth down play calls in Texas territory. Easy there.
  10. Have to get to third down to do that
  11. lol yeah go back and read the OU game thread and tell me if we agree with that
  12. The defense is not going to find an answer. The Washington passing game is too good. The defensive adjustment is ball control offense.
  13. Enormous answer. I’m not sure the D is going to find an answer but that is huge for the offense, both on the scoreboard and in terms of rhythm and confidence in an impending shootout
  14. God damn the refs for dropping that!!!!
  15. Well defended by Muhammad. Can’t ask much more of a cover. The front has to many something happen when they have a shot at Penix like that. Three timeouts and over a minute. Need to make something of this with the ball
  16. What a fucking close by Barron. That’s short. I’ll join the choir on the refs if they let it stand
  17. Yeah they really helped UW by letting Worthy tackle the corner on a ball that was going to hit him in the chest. Big brain shit there
  18. That should have been OPI on Worthy for the ref criers. I’m glad he did it and that it didn’t get thrown but he tackled the corner on an INT
  19. Boy I’d have kicked that if I was UW. Nice job to hold by the defense. UW’s third and fourth down calls were way too vanilla but that’s their problem. Not going to work on this front.
  20. As are their kicker/punter
  21. Love a big man TD. Huge swing off the muffed punt. A badly needed break for Texas. Like that Sark remembered running the ball is an option. Ball control is going to be your friend tonight
  22. This is the one and only officiating gripe Texas has tonight
