  1. Two. EdGe is the standard nomenclature.
  2. As soon as I say "Game of Thrones" I wondered if there are nudes. There are nudes. Full frontal nudes. I won't link them, but I'm happy to report that a) they are real and b) they are pretty spectacular
  3. So ... what? He just omits the whole J.P. Morgan part of his resume then hopes they don't do a Google search for Robert/Bobby/Rob Thorne and find the Texas Observer article or all of the Twitter references or these posts on Surly?
  4. Been hanging out with Doctor Spock Funk and his merry assortment of chemical comestibles?
  5. Imagine being so filled with so much irrational hatred of a group of people that you risk your high-paying job at JP Morgan for it. Not only that, but what's his resume going to look like now? How does he tell prospective future employers that he was fired because he's a neo-Nazi?
  6. The Texas Observer has unmasked four Neo-Nazis on Twitter/X, robbing them of their anonymity. I'm pretty surprised that a vice president at JP Morgan Chase would be a Neo Nazi. Also, if you're not supporting The Texas Observer, financially, you're doing it wrong. They are: "Cyan Cruz, a 40-year-old marketing professional who appears to have lived in Austin and Amarillo and operates the X account TheOfficial1984; Michael Gramer, a 42-year-old retired mechanical engineer who has lived in New Hampshire, operates the X account 9mm_SMG, and has claimed to have a house in Galveston and to be spending time in Dallas; Robert “Bobby” Thorne, a 35-year-old vice president at JP Morgan Chase in Plano, who operates the account Noble1945 and previously operated the account Noble_x_x_; and John Anthony Provenzano, a 30-year-old who appears to live in Virginia, operates the account utism_ (formerly known as JohnnyBullzeye), and, according to a tip and a records request response from the U.S. Navy, works at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, Maryland—where the Navy manufactures explosive ordnance." https://www.texasobserver.org/revealed-operators-neo-nazi-x-accounts/

  8. Wait a minute ... Jackson Arnold is ine portal? But I was assured that both he and Connor Weigman, who is also in the portal, were better than Arch Manning. Is that not true?
  9. Can somebody explain to me how to fix it so that I will never see another one of Funk Doctor Spock's posts again? I know there's a way to do it but I just don't know how. Holy fuck what a beating.
  10. Anybody else hearing that Texas has talked to Bear Alexander?
  11. Shamelessly stolen from TexAgs: Since our Big XII Title in 1998: Number of seasons with better than an 8-4 record: Slocum: 0 / 4 Fran: 1 / 5 Sherman: 1 / 4 Sumlin: 1 / 6 Fisher: 2 / 6 Elko: 0 / 1 5 / 26 21 of 26 seasons have been 8-4 or worse. This is actually unbelievable.
  12. He'll be at Clemson in two years and throw for 1,920 yards, a 72.5% completion rate, 8.1 yards per attempt, and have a 155.0 QB rating.
  13. You should thank your lucky stars that Aggies, as a people, are so virtuous and merciful.
  14. Cross posting this because it's remarkable. Here is an incredible stat: Texas has more Interceptions than TDs allowed Texas has 18 interceptions against 13 TD's allowed. Next best is Ohio State with 9 ints to 13 TDs allowed. Of the 13 TD's that Texas has allowed, only four were passing TDs, so Texas has 18 ints to 4 passing TDs, a ratio of 4.5 to one. I remember games against the Sooners when our defense gave up more than four passing TDs in one game. Georgia's defense, conversely, has given up 26 TDs --- twice as many as has Texas. I'm thinking that, in the modern era, those kinds of numbers/ratios might be historically good.

  16. There's just nothing that makes my soul happier than a TexAgs meltdown. Nothing. I wish I could bottle this schadenfreude for days when I'm depressed.
  17. You'd have to be crazy to have a spot at Texas and then switch. Sark is building a monster. Five players drafted two years ago. Eleven last year. I've seen projections of up to 13 this year.
  18. They say that Kyle Field is very hard to win in. And yet A&M, who plays in Kyle more than anybody, has won barely 50% of their conference games in Kyle field since joining the SEC, proving the idea that it's a hard place to win in very, very wrong.
  19. And only one from Arkansas. If you'd have told me before the season that we'd play our three historical rivals this year and they would score a combined seven points on offense I'd have thought you were smoking crack.
