  1. Former Texas A&M QB Haynes King was 6/6 passing in Georgia Tech's win over Miami. He chose wisely.
  2. I agree with you. But that's not what you said, nor is it what I took issue with.
  3. There are 335 million Americans. Did more than 51% of them vote for Donald Trump?
  4. You said that the whole pretense of the United States is that leaders are not supposed to save us. Your Gettysburg Address quote says nothing about leaders not being supposed to save us. And Lincoln literally saved the United States.
  5. Bengals got screwed on that 2 point conversion. Come on!
  6. Mad respect for both of these QBs. Jackson's having one of the best seasons I've ever seen and Burrow is one tough SOB.
  7. Refresh my memory. Which article says that the pretense of the U.S. is that a leader isn't supposed to save us?
  8. It's sad to see how some people, and I'm talking about Johntay here, respond to a little bit of adversity.
  9. I dunno, man ... the UK is pretty grim these days. And the weather in London sucks bigtime.
  10. I don't fear Trump, I fear Vance. Trump is a stalking horse.
  11. Yes. That system. The one that allows you to earn so much that you have to pay 10s of thousands of dollars every year in taxes.
  12. Well, I've been to (just checked for this purpose) 132 games at DKR and never heard it, either. Maybe back in the 1960's it happened, but ours is a relatively enlightened fanbase.
  13. Man, no shit. My uncle's dialysis treatments have used up 30 years worth of retirement savings. He's been an independent building contractor since the early 80s.
  14. Specious logic. Our "emergency stockpile" has been growing for the last 7-8 months. While it was being drawn down over the 18 months prior to that, the U.S. not only successfully avoided a recession/depression but saw huge economic growth.
  15. Just want to point out that, as much as I wish this to be true, it is not. Violent crimes, which were rising steadily toward the end of Trump's presidency, continued that climb through mid-late 2022. They have dramatically decreased since then, but are still slightly above where they were when Trump left office.
  16. Yup. A good friend who is a 1) an oral surgeon with degrees from Baylor and UT Medical school 2) the owner of a large ranch in south Texas and 3) a huge Longhorn fan who has had many Longhorn football players down on his ranch for hunting and fishing over the years 4) loves Trump and think Kamala is evil.
  17. That's problematic. The last season of "The Boys" has yet to be released. It sounds like he paid up front.
  18. I'm month to month. I'm out on Nov. 9th. What an unforced error by Bezos. Talk about not being able to read the room.
  19. I searched for it and I don't believe it was posted here. Today is the first time I voted all blue and Allred on the same day.
  20. Houston Chronicle: Republican Super Pac says Ted's time may be at an end. https://www.chron.com/politics/article/ted-cruz-senate-race-19836316.php
  21. Raja gets mad respect from me for clotheslining Kobe in the playoffs in 2006. Kobe deserved it. He'd hit Raja several times in the face and the refs refused to call him for it.
