  1. Mississippi is not only the poorest state in the union but also has the shortest life expectancy at birth by almost a full year: 71.9 years. West Virginia is second on that list at 72.8 years.
  2. Yeah, I hope he enjoys this next year because, once it's gone, you never get it back. Sat around last weekend with a group of old college friends drinking single malt scotch and reminiscing about our times at UT. We're all successful people who definitely "made it" in life. And yet all of us were talking about how much fun we had at UT. Like they say you never knew what you had until it's gone.
  3. If Saban has brought in billions, ask your friend why Alabama is not very well endowed. Grinnell College in Iowa, Swarthmore, Pomona College etc... all are more well endowed than is Alabama. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colleges_and_universities_in_the_United_States_by_endowment Alabama's endowment for the whole University of Alabama system is less than 1/20th the size of the UT system.
  4. Oregon has some DL that are from Texas: Bowens, Green and Ashton Porter. All were 4-star recruits.
  5. So the kid quit FSU, left them out to dry for their bowl game, went and hung out/partied in Colorado over the winter break, and now FSU is taking him back? That's kind of fucked up.
  6. Go get Pete Carroll as defensive analyst for a year or two, now that he's no longer the coach of the Seahawks.
  7. It's kind of cool that you can leave El Paso, pick up some vape product in New Mexico, then drive through Arizona, California, Oregon and all the way to Seattle without worrying about getting busted.
  8. "The 6-foot-4, 317 pound Hinton has been a starter for four years on the college level, logging six starts as a redshirt freshman in 2020 at Middle Tennessee State, nine more as a sophomore there, and then transferred to FAU where he started nine games in 2022 and then all 12 contests in 2023."
  9. Perhaps, but Texas just finished with a higher ranking in the AP poll than A&M ever has with the exception of that one time in 1939. That means something to me. It's crazy to see the Aggies bashing Texas' season when very few living Aggies have ever witnessed a better one.
  10. If you're going to go overboard, go all the way. Don't fuck around.
  11. These motherfuckers are unhinged. Who is nursing on Trump's man teat? I can't tell who that's supposed to be.
  12. God said "I need somebody to get up before dawn, fix this country, work all day, fight the marxists, eat supper, then go to the Oval office and stay past midnight at a meeting of the heads of state, so God made Trump." Holy fucking fuck.
  13. This Trump motherfucker is a batshit fucking crazy motherfucker. "So God made Trump .." HOLY FUCK.
  14. Here are two fantastic articles both of which offer plenty of ammunition (ahem) against those red-state Trump gun lovers who talk about violence and crime as if it is a Democrat problem. https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-two-decade-red-state-murder-problem https://www.salon.com/2023/02/15/like-to-talk-tough-on--but-theyre-the-ones-with-a-real-problem/ Key takeaways: The murder rate in the 25 states that voted for Donald Trump has exceeded the murder rate in the 25 states that voted for Joe Biden in every year from 2000 to 2020. Over this 21-year span, this Red State murder gap has steadily widened from a low of 9% more per capita red state murders in 2003 and 2004 to 44% more per capita red state murders in 2019, before settling back to 43% in 2020. Altogether, the per capita Red State murder rate was 23% higher than the Blue State murder rate when all 21 years were combined. If Blue State murder rates were as high as Red State murder rates, Biden-voting states would have suffered over 45,000 more murders between 2000 and 2020. Even when murders in the largest cities in red states are removed, overall murder rates in Trump-voting states were 12% higher than Biden-voting states across this 21-year period and were higher in 18 of the 21 years observed.
  15. Only in the cloak room is pointing out something that is a factual matter of record considered "stanning."
