  8. And where exactly do you think one ends up making and defending these arguments when an employee commits fraud against his employer? hmmmm
  9. Gee, that’s too bad.
  10. I wish. Hill Country Galleria isn't really Westlake. We really like their pizza and calzones - real deal coal fired pizza oven. Was bummed when the Frost Gelato next door to it went under because that was an awesome dinner-then-dessert combo. They are opening one up a Tony C's Anderson Lane (or were planning to anyway before this hit - hope they still do bc its close to my gf's place). *this is a great thread, btw
  11. 100% approval among Republicans. They are fundamentally dishonest, party over country traitors.
  12. "if the Democrats would just nominate someone way more racist, I might vote for them. I mean, I wouldn't, but I'll say I might because I am dishonest."
  13. i don't think i have ever tried any of the jarred indian sauces before. i do buy premade spice mixes though - not necessarily indian - berbere, za'atar, baharat, advieh. i don't use those mixes frequently enough to whip up my own batches. there is a brand of harissa paste in a jar that i love and always have some in my fridge. i also love the Trader Joe's zhoug sauce and usually have that on hand . I also keep some schezuan chili oil in the pantry (actually I keep another jar of that at the office too). that stuff is good on all kinds of dishes.
  14. berbere spiced black lentil stew with yogurt
  15. Yes. Well. What about that time that one Democrat politician who’s been dead for two decades now said something racist in the 1960s? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Conversation over. Advantage Trump. -Johnny Sack and all Republicans

  20. here you go 2 tablespoons baharat spice blend ** 2 teaspoons ground sumac 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground coriander 3 large preserved lemons, flesh scooped out and rinds torn up 3 garlic cloves, crushed 1 3/4 cups chicken stock 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon sea salt A few grinds black pepper ~3 lbs bone-in skin-on chicken large red onion thinly sliced green olives In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the baharat, sumac, cumin, coriander, preserved lemon rinds, garlic, chicken stock, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Seal the bag and gently massage everything together. Open the bag and toss in the chicken thighs and onions, reseal, and massage again to fully coat the chicken. Toss the bag in the fridge for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight to marinate, turning the bag several times Preheat the oven to 400°F . Dump the chicken and the marinade in a large roasting pan and arrange the chicken, skin side up, on top of the onions, add olives in between chicken pieces. Roast until the chicken is golden brown and the juices run clear, ~50 minutes. ** I have baharat from a spice shop, but here are a couple recipes for making your own: https://www.food.com/recipe/baharat-spice-blend-224763 https://jugglingthyme.com/baharat-spice-mix/
  21. ha - same here. i saw Landomatic's post last week and did a huge dish of baked rigatoni friday night with a simple homemade marinara and lots of mozzarella and parmesan. fed two of us both friday and saturday nights for dinner, took a couple servings out to my mom with some other essentials yesterday, and still have enough for two more dinners this week. also not complaining. big bang for the buck dish for sure.
  22. any vote for any R for any office is a vote for and support of Trump
  23. baharat and sumac roasted chicken with red onions, preserved lemons and olives
  24. Johnny Hack posting a supposed signature block from an alleged email from his financial advisor to own the libs - not quite Rocko posting a picture of his paystub level pathetic, but damn close.
  25. if Johnny Hack could arrange to pay to take repeated loads to the face from Trump, he absolutely would.
