  1. there is no reason for them to turn on Trump if he is going to win a fixed “election,” which he will. they know this. that’s why they haven’t turned on him, and never will.
  2. Yeah. Well. Here is a list of circumstances in which Republicans will to do the right thing and put the good of the country over their own party and self-interests: The End
  3. Yep. Sounds like the Republicans have it set up perfectly.
  4. Maybe I will start to come around when I see: (a) a single example of any Republican politician at the national level (shit, at any level, anywhere, really) doing the right thing and putting country over party; and/or (b) any meaningful consequences - not theoretical ones or “sure thing this time” ones - for Trump for his criminal and treasonous actions. Until then, I believe that skepticism is more than warranted. I’ve heard the “dam is finally breaking” line before. A bunch. And there is no evidence to support the proposition that we can expect a legitimate election to be had. I will happily eat crow and celebrate if I am wrong.
  5. Right, but it won’t. He’ll be in office in 2021 and beyond if he’s still alive.
  6. “This is the kind of stuff that makes me proud to be a member of the GOP. This is what real leadership looks like.” -All Republicans

there is a Biederman's Deli opening up in the shopping center at Bee Caves and 360, next to the Zoe's Kitchen (where the old Le Madeleine was). Never been to the other location, but it sounds like a nice addition to that center.

    Indian

I've been once. gf said "its like the Grateful Dead of Indian restaurants," which made sense at the time. I don't remember anything remarkable about the food one way or the other. YMMV.
  9. False. Unless there is a written, notarized statement made by Trump, signed off woth multiple (Republican only) witnesses, saying “I hereby officially bribe and extort you in my capacity as President of the United States,” it’s a total nothingburger. And if that does exist, it’s fake news.” -All Republicans

Teji's is my favorite. love the goat dishes Saffron Westlake is my local go-to. super nice folks who run it, I hope it is successful Tried Vixen's Wedding this weekend (dumb name, I know) and it is "Goan Indian/Portuguese fusion" - everything we had was way more Indian than Portuguese, and it was damn good. I was impressed
  11. 100% of Republicans buy it and are ready to "move on." they are complete and utter frauds.
  12. It’s not that Republicans don’t know that they support and are complicit in treason; they absolutely do. They’ve made the conscious decision that it’s worth it to do so in order feel like they are “driving the libs crazy” and “teaching the libs a lesson.”
  13. Every single Republican is complicit.
  14. Can someone provide a list of a Republicans who have spoken up and stated that the President of the United States inviting foreign interference in our election process, and committing treason, is wrong? Republicans on this board? Or in the House, or in the Senate? Or any Republican elected official at any level, anywhere in the country? Or on the planet earth? Oh, that’s right, there are none. There is no list.
  15. And Republicans will defend it.

  17. And where are the Republicans calling him out on this? There are none, anywhere? Oh.
  18. That’s Quanell X’s little brother.
  19. And has the full support of every Republican elected official in this country.
  20. ok so that 24% is the floor. now, lets add in: the remaining Republicans who are not in that 24%, some of whom may even say they "disapprove" but will vote for Trump anyway (the rest of them) plus - foreign interference with the assistance of the Trump administration, the Republican Party, and NRA plus - voter suppression and election rigging by Trump and the Republicans (does anyone actually believe there will be a legitimate election process) - where does all that lead us? sounds to me like it all adds up to an easy win for Trump. of course, i'd love to be wrong.
  21. This is exactly what will happen.
  22. With Trump, Barr, and Giuliani being the first ones strung up from light poles in the street.
