  1. Is there a link up to this yet anywhere? One of the shows should have on that guy who used to work for the cowboys media who went off on them on Twitter.
  2. Sweet cowboys gig not work out?
  3. From the files of the really weird... since the infamous black cat ran the field in Jersey right after Halloween no NFL team with a cat mascot (Lions, Bengals, Panthers, Jaguars) won a single game the rest of the month. The Bengals then broke the curse immediately on December 1st.
  4. In case you don't want to click that sources link here it is While most of the attention around the slumping Cowboys had focused on the future of head coach Jason Garrett, the likelihood of big roster changes for Dallas in 2020 continues to grow as well. Sources said there has been no progress on new deals for a trio of star free agents -- quarterback Dak Prescott, receiver Amari Cooper and corner Byron Jones -- and no talks are anticipated until after the season. Retaining Prescott remains the primary objective of owner Jerry Jones, but with Prescott's agents playing this out until after the season, and the quarterback compiling career numbers (albeit largely against inferior teams), he is building a case to become the highest-paid quarterback in the game. The scope and magnitude of this deal continues to grow, and the Cowboys will place the franchise tag on him if need be, which is lost on no one involved in any of these negotiations, sources said. Sources said the only way that Cooper will not hit the market is if the tag is placed on him, but there is obviously only one tag to go around per team. With the receiver market limited by so many top players already signing extensions, and with Prescott set to go from earning less than $5 million in four years to over $33 million a year, the odds of keeping him and Cooper -- without Cooper on the tag -- are slim. The Cowboys and Cooper made no headway the entire offseason, and there is no inclination on his side to do a deal now with free agency so close. Similarly, there has been no communication between the Cowboys and Jones either, sources said, and no talks are expected. With years of starting experience at safety and corner, Jones, a former first-round pick, is positioned well on the open market and sources said it looks increasingly likely he will be elsewhere in 2020
  5. After getting off to a 1-5 start in 2018, the Raiders decided to trade former top-five draft pick Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys for a first-round draft pick. The move almost was universally panned initially, as the Raiders appeared to be starting a rebuild by parting with one of the team's most talented young players. General manager Mike Mayock utilized that pick to select Mississippi State safety Johnathan Abram, who had a promising preseason before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 1. It now appears that the Cowboys sent a first-round pick to Oakland for a rental of Cooper, as the team reportedly is looking more and more likely to not be re-signing the wide receiver, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports citing a source. The only way it appears the Cowboys could bring back both Cooper and quarterback Dak Prescott would be if they used the franchise tag on one of them. With Jerry Jones already facing the prospect of having to shell out a fortune to bring Prescott back to America's team, the chances of Dallas retaining both Prescott and Cooper are slim. Oakland certainly would have appreciated Cooper's services on Sunday however, as the Raiders were drubbed 40-9 in Kansas City and fell to 6-6 on the season. https://sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/nfl-rumors-amari-cooper-likely-020303952.html#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From %1%24s
  6. Until I see otherwise I'll believe 100 percent that anyone at 155 is too small to handle Khabib. I thought Poirier was about as polished a striker I'd seen in the division with a very good ground game and Khabib ate him up so badly he contemplated retirement afterwards. I think it would take a bigger guy like Masvidal to stand a chance.
  7. Nows the time. Fire Garrett, keep raising the offer to Belichick until he says yes and give him 100 percent control of football coaching and a say in personnel.
  8. Watching this country slide right down the toilet is sad and leaves a feeling of helplessness. Unfortunately we're getting to a point where, like Germany under Nazi control, the only thing that can cleanse this country of this horrible hatred is it's near destruction. As shitty as it is only real problems of starvation, invasion, and mass death may be able to bring people back to some semblance of fucking reality. As long as most everyone is sitting comfortably in their home getting constantly inundated with garbage it will only get worse. At this point we don't know how many holidays we have left before the cracks in America really start to show in a tangible and severely life altering way for each of us. That's why I'm just going to enjoy the stuff I can now while I can. We can't stop it, all we can do is hope the foundation that was laid is strong enough to keep it together just long enough for us to die first.
  9. Good episode. A little firefly-like but still pretty solid and baby Yoda has mastered comedic timing.
  10. A decade or so ago I know Seattle went to the playoffs as a 7-9 division winner. That had to be an atrocious win percentage division that year. If the eagles are really this bad then this is a race to 8-8. Maybe 7-9.
  11. Fuck Jerry Jones even more. I don't want that redneck piece of shit back-dooring into a reason to keep his red headed step child around.
  12. Fuck this. I don't want the cowboys sorry bitch asses winning the division because the Eagles' suck so bad they lose to the fucking dolphins.
  13. Like I said the Cowboys are in deep shit. After today they will be tied with the Eagles at 6 and 6. The Eagles are at worst going 3 and 1 in the final four if they lose the Cowboys game. that means the Cowboys have to win three of the last four games including over the Eagles to have a chance to make the playoffs. This team isn't getting that shit done. They're losing at least two of the final four games
  14. All that fertile recruiting ground. Texas puts out QBs and down DBs/receivers. Occasional running backs like Dobbins Texas HS sucks for linemen. Sucks hard. So hard. Sucks just as bad for linebackers. Hard to field winning teams much less title contenders with shitty lines and linebackers.
  15. This isn't a running team anymore. The OL is playing old and slow, the middle with Frederick and LG gets zero push in the run game, and the running back is slow, hardly breaks tackles, and doesn't run hard much past the first quarter.
  16. If you can't shoot the 3 worth a shit then don't shoot them. Attack the rim relentlessly, especially against McNeese St
  17. He sucks all around but is far worse in pass pro. Adjusting the offense and throwing playaction on basically every non running play would at least help slow down the rush. Some QB runs would also help but we know that shit ain't happening with Mr. No Contract QB.
  18. Guess Michigan is going to go all cowboys and beat themselves. I'm out, happy rivalry weekend to all.
  19. That whole story about his dad in prison packaged to look like some feel good story? I hate when they bring that shit into a football game. Don't try to make me give a shit about the players with some bullshit Lifetime television for women garbage. Let their fucking play speak for itself.
  20. Especially if your QB is going to be chicken shit and just run to the sideline instead of following his block and cutting up behind the OL man who had sealed the edge rusher outside.
  21. As a kid I used to cheer for osu in this game every year. Then in 2005 during my 3rd year at Texas I almost got thrown in a Columbus jail after enduring the hate/racism and horrible treatment from those horrible people. Now, I want everyone in that city and every alumni of that shit place burned at the stake.
  22. At Texas that would have been 30 penalty yards against the defense
  23. Okudah is a pass interference machine. How Michigan isn't getting those calls even at home is criminal.
  24. At this point the adjustment needs to be to get back to more run game and playaction off of it. Every pass that isn't short quick game should have playaction or RPO built in.
