  1. I thank our head corch for killing himself recruiting Florida to build that first team.
  2. Just not getting the thumb technique, corch. Sounds like you want us to bite the nuts and doggie crawl through the taint and into the ass. Is this a Sandusky maneuver?
  3. Nice wide open catch and run 33 yard TD for LJH from Taysom Hill. Deked his defender at the end to get in the end zone.
  4. ESPN no longer employs Ed Werder or John Clayton, but gotdammit, aren't writers Dave Wilson and David M. Hale staking their claim for a Pulitzer Prize on this one?
  5. Surprised Emmert isn't demanding that all licensing fees go to raise his puny (for sports commissioners) salary of $3.9M. But when he gets home from work every day, I'm sure his wife DeLaine and his dirty sock and astroglide bottle will always be devoted to him.
  6. I'd surmise that Craig James never had his bling stolen.
  7. Not my preferred website of political echo-chamber brainwashing, but ~ yay ~ for the readers of The Daily Caller, who can now go home to ESPN!
  8. Your collective hate of EJ, resulting in failed comedic replies and homophobic slurs against me, has triggered my severe depression, and made me suic
  9. Ha! I'm glad I found the EJ post-mortem thread. It provides clear context to why he was rogue on twitter by building his own brand, and not that of his $9.95 employer. EJ's schtick did not bother me - his periscope q&a's were good, and he did post alot of video of reps wherever he was. Roach and Buckley on twitter are a bore. Open to suggestions of who else to follow.
  10. Marques Colston was a very late 7th round pick who dominated training camp and preseason on a 2006 team that had a ton of roster spots open. It was Brees' first year in New Orleans coming off the shoulder surgery, and Reggie Bush's first year. LJH has an opportunity to make the roster, and the Saints are moving away from smaller receivers after Tommylee Lewis got blown up on the NFCCG non-call, and current receiver project Austin Carr has not panned out. The cerebral Saints offense is about matchups and especially now with Brees' rarely throwing deep and throwing even less intermediate routes. They were dominant as an offense last season until the Cowboys shut them down, and they sputtered the rest of the way. Injuries at receiver and offensive line were a big cause for the loss of momentum. Is Cam Meredith going to recover from hi knee issues? Does Ted Ginn Jr. still have it at his age, and after he was injured most of last season/ Is Tre'quan Smith going to get better in year 2. He seemed to be a non-factor in the 2nd half of last season. LJH can make this roster and at minimum, if he lands on the practice squad and develops for the Saints or a team that snatches him from the practice squad, that would be a good outcome. If he can make the 53 but not be active too much on gameday, that's not a bad outcome for an UFDA either, and better than the practice squad. Bottom line, he's got to show what I think I and most people around here have seen - that his playmaking, tackle-breaking, and rapid growth as a college player just are not congruent with his shitty measurables.
  11. In the rankings of favorite 6th year medical redshirts, I demand that Bo Scaife be ranked highly.
  12. Happy for team that they won a post-season national tournament, finally found an identity, and they got to play at MSG. Would prefer not to call this a championship.
  13. AAF aint bad as a little background TV on Sunday night, especially if the game is close.
  14. The technical design of this post is outstanding.
  15. PAC 12 football is dying, and the simple reason for it is Pacific Standard Time.
  16. All the dog whistle vitriol against Kaepernick has been renewed only because Kap and Geragos just got the NFL and Goodell to kneel and suck. The NFL clearly decided the price was right to keep a lid on their racist collusion (or risk of it being found if the case had proceeded). And how stupid was the NFL? Kaep was already about washed-up as an NFL passer and starting QB and if the NFL had just not overreacted to Kaep's protests, they could've actually for once not billionaire-derped the moment, while naturally egged on by the right-wing outrage spewers. (/no CR). And then of course there's the little fact rarely thought about, which is that the NFL is usually about 65%-70% black each season in its player demographics. The NFL would be wise to sponsor an annual in-season Black History month. But instead it's just all about White Billionaires and their Yachts and their Cheesy Massage Parlor handies by trafficked sex slaves and threads started by Surly ***NFL Correspondent*** Mic Vackey. Imagine the NFL coming out when Kaep started with a statement that said "We respect our players' expression of protest regarding issues in society. However, we are disappointed the protest occurs while in the wearing of an NFL uniform, when one's focus professionally and personally should solely be on their team and the game they are about to play."
  17. Sidebar: Best Longhorn D-man on-field celebration.
  18. I love them all. A great one-day, one-stage springtime fair is the Old 97's County Fair in downtown Dallas across the street from the beautifully refurbished mid-century modern Statler Hotel. 2019 Lineup should be coming out in the next 6 weeks. http://www.old97scf.com/#home/about
  19. Remembering last year when the guvna rolled over to Bevo's crib and hung out just fine, unlike that pissant bulldawgie.
  20. Oh dumbass aggy preznit, "interspersed" and "beginning" intersect. That being said, hell no to restoring this game with those frauds. If we're looking to keep scheduling series with SEC West teams, I'd do Auburn next.
  21. Poor Bulldog got the D.J. Durkin treatment, before Bevo could get him. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/04/tech-xx-louisiana-techs-e_n_1739298.html Moment of silence for Tech XX. Moment of silence for Dick Trickle.
