The tragedy here, as I see it, is not the argument as to whether or not being transgender is a a mental illness, which it likely is, but rather that the term "mental illness" has been weaponized. As someone who battles mental illness daily, I find it disheartening that we still live in a world that stigmatizes mental health as being different and/or worse that physical illness.

  3. I've been busy the last few days, did I miss the news that Trey Moore is leaving? Seems like he'd want to stay one more year.
  4. This is the strangest argument I've ever heard. I'm former Navy enlisted and all the other former Navy enlisted, and currently Navy enlisted I know root for Navy But you do you
  5. Read above ...I said he'd win the Heisman 99 out of 100 times. He just happened to have this season the same year Travis Hunter showed everyone what people mean by the term positionless football.
  6. Exactly. The Heisman is supposed to the best "player" in college football. That is Travis Hunter ...and not just this year. He's a once in a generation football player.
  7. Yes, and that kinda goes against your argument. He is not having a better season than Barry Sanders did. Same carries, but fewer yards. Are you also of the mind the Melvin Gordon should have won the Heisman? He had better stats than Jeanty.
  8. Barry Sanders only played 11 games in '88. Jeanty has already played 13 this year. Not trying to take anything away from Jeanty, but it's a silly companion.
  9. That's because blowU is facing the end of times
  10. There is no Heisman race ...while Jeanty is obviously the best running back and would win the Heisman 99 out of 100 years, this is that 1 other year. Travis Hunter is 100% the best player in college football this year, and it's not particularly close.

  12. This war on Christmas will not stand, man
  13. Oh, I was thinking he was being sarcastic, about one of his bad games. Was it the game against Cal that he basically lost singlehandedly?
  14. Yep, strategy would be to bring in a 1,000 guys with my staying power ...she'd be done by lunch.
  15. I do; it was his freshman year as well ...but if memory serves, he turned out to be pretty good

  17. I get that, but I'd argue punters are the least valuable players on the team. Kern's averaging like 5 yards less in net average than the guys we're targeting. Plus he was injured, and only been on campus 5 months. I think he still has a shot to be really good with a full off-season. That's not to say I don't think we should find a veteran punter in the portal in the meantime. But kickers are often the highest scorers on the team, so I consider them a higher priority. Hell, if you put a gun to my head I'm not sure I could name 5 punters ...college and pro combined.
  18. With those names I assumed they grew up in a trailer park in rural West Virginia. Color me shocked that they are actually private school kids from a wealthy Denver suburb. Hey man, we have them Hudson Card, what else do they want from us?
  19. Have any kickers of note been mentioned as possibly visiting Texas? I know people on here are keen to land a punter, but I feel like a reliable kicker is much more important. We didn't lose any games because of Kern, but you could argue that Bert cost us the SEC championship.
  20. If you can only win with Brady, you are not a good coach. Minnesota is killing it with Sam f'ing Darnold. And Sean Payton is winning with Bo Nix. Belichick will fail at UNC. Book it.
  21. I see you bought into the hype. Belichick had 1 winning season in Cleveland before landing the Pats job. Patriots went to the playoffs in 3 of the previous 4 seasons with an average record of 10-6...in the year before he arrived (Pete Carrol's last year) they dipped to 8-8. In Bill's first year he went 5-11 ...coincidentally the same as he'd done in Cleveland the previous year. Then along came Brady (who only got a shot because Bledsoe got injured) and viola Bill is the greatest coach ever. Then Brady goes to TB and Bill goes back to sucking ..ie 43% win rate over final 4 years after Brady leaves. Meanwhile, Brady leads the previously 7-9 Bucs to a Super Bowl championship in his first year with the team. But sure, Belichick is a great coach
  22. Bill Belichick's record without Brady is 83-101 (45%) ...he ain't winning shit at UNC. Most overrated coach in NFL history.
  23. That's a bummer. He showed a lot of natural instincts at the previous 2 stops, but I guess he experienced the Peter Principle at Texas. Good luck to the young man
  24. I can think of a few lawyers and software engineers I wouldn't mind being put on a list.
