  1. My point is that I don’t want to be forced to fly in the back next to people like you who drone on and on about RE deals or Austin politics for a year. So I deal with the AA occasional BS until I get moved back up front. Perhaps that is why some people in Austin choose to fly AA? See how that works?
  2. I just dropped in to see if we were discussing Zoroastrianism yet?
  3. At this point guys like me are so invested in AA ExP status that flying those other options are not worth the year long effort to gain matching status. I have tried to ask for matching status from delta and they don’t do that any more. It’s really not as bad as some people say. I fly every week to JFK and PHL. I am upgraded about on 3 out of every 4 flights except during March, June and, December. Also as long as I avoid DFW connections and opt for Charlotte or Philly I rarely encounter delays. However - let’s track for funsies. I have 4 flights this week. Monday 1:05 to Charlotte and then 5:45 to LGA Tuesday 3:00 JFK to Charlotte 6:49 to Austin.
  4. He is a much better runner than Buechele is. Card was a WR in the LT offense for 2 years and their primary threat on end arounds.
  5. TOTALLY DISAGREE. Best first class seats in the whole narrow body AA fleet . Plus the 2-3 config was perfect when I was flying with my wife. Have you flown on an Oasis plane yet? Holy shit it’s bad.
  6. One that says Philadelphia Eagles super bowl champs on it?
  7. Yesterday I just sat there on my horse on top off that narrow passage west of Valentine and picked off a camp of odriscols with my Springfield. Then i stacked up their bodies in a pile as a warning not to enter my passage of death. People did anyway, got killt, and added to the pile. That helped me pass a few hours...
  8. I posted this elsewhere but this is probably a more appropriate thread. The kids have been out of school now for a week or two and I have kept an eye on what they watch. It’s literally 100% streaming. Wife almost never watches TV and while I do watch DTV - I travel so much I hardly watch enough to justify the $200/month cost. What is holding me back, however, is that I took an unlimited data deal with ATT for the 4 phones in our house if I tied our DTV and ATT accounts together. Not sure if this is a deal Or not....Our phone bill cost is $260 for 4 phones with unlimited data. 3 of those phones are on that att payoff plan at roughly $75/month I would hate to lose the unlimited data option - as we use a lot of data.
  9. The thing that concerns me is that IMO there are some truly corrupt individuals in that administration. I worry they will do whatever the f it takes to make sure they are not exposed to prosecution.

  11. Did you drive one of these?

  13. I did a DFW AMS turn in premium coach the first week of June. Had no issues whatsoever.
  14. This. Every time I am there I am so amazed by the scope of the changes. This last trip I noticed the pending road infrastructure. I can’t fathom how had this project was to plan and manage.

  19. Not for me.
  20. since I was there for work and didn’t want to spend my limited free time in a museum I decided to just walk and explore. Target for free day 1 was the Albert Cuyp Market in De Pijp. The market was meh (except the fresh stroopwaffel, get one of those) but the hood was awesome. Reminded me of the NYC LES. Did the same on free afternoon 2 and just wandered Jordaan. My advice is to pick a direction and just walk. It’s a small city. And only took me 20-30 minutes to walk to De Pijp which looks like a haul on a map.
  21. I just got back. Some impressions on AMS: Public transportation is outstanding. Use it. In fact the entirity of AMS infrastructure including the airport is outstanding. Centraal sucks and is full of fat tourists and 20 year olds looking to get shitfaced. The red light district is the worst. It feels like a cross between New Orleans and Boston - but not in a good way. Spend some time there but know what you are getting into. Jordaan and De Pijp are outstanding neighborhoods for walking and embracing the city. The May weather is absurd. Take a canal tour. Dutch food is mediocre but there are gems to be found. Highlights of my trip was the Indonesian food at restaurant Max and the pizza at Sotto. The hoods that these restaurants are in are excellent for walking also. Things in NED are surprisingly cheap. Everyone speaks English and is very friendly. The Heineken brewery tour was the biggest wast of money of my trip. I’m sure I’ll think of some other stuff. All in it is a great place to visit this time of year. Apparently it is not as crowded right now as it gets in the summer.
  22. Don’t they do them at wings and things?
