  1. What Sunns38 said. Never experienced the prototypical rude New Yorker in my years of working/living there.
  2. Would also work with: I believe this movie. A dude could jump off a mountain and not hurt himself, because he DID brace himself, and knew something about the levels of gravitivity and polarity.
  3. ERhine has the rye and gave me a taste. It’s really really nice. Btw, I decided it was time to open something from the 22 bottle hoard. This is as excellent as I remember.
  4. Back in the early 90s you could get a jack and coke in the big tea glass for $6. It was probably about 6 oz of booze and that $6 would go a long way.
  5. I woke up on the floor of some Japanese family's rec room, and they would not stop screaming.
  6. Two great stops of progress in a row. Solid defense there. Now make them pay!
  7. Jesus Christ, an old rich guy said something insensitive. He wasn’t a fucking monster. Have some respect for the dead.
  8. Found this at my mother-in-law’s house. It will do (already killed the 1920 I brought).
  9. Probably old news, but first time I heard of it: At Specs today and the will-call guy was telling me the owner of 8th Row Flint (Yale and 11th) has a deal each Dec 26th where he calls in all his favors at Specs and sells all his allocated bourbons for cost (two of each of the pappy's and BTAC, and who knows what else). Seems like a fun idea.
  10. Thing is, Reacher is probably 50 by now. So Ray Stevenson would work.
  11. In college Brett Favre completed a 79 yard hail mary. Brett Favre, who threw so hard he would break his receivers fingers. So, yeah you're coworkers are morons.
  12. Oh no! I have a Bengals-make-the-playoffs bet. Might as well tear up that ticket.
  13. I get it. Also, the fact that Caymus just decided to say "fuck it" in the mid 90s and almost double their prices. 1993 Cab - $24 1994 Cab - $36 1995 Cab - $62 Oh, and then in 2013 they were fined by Napa county for over-producing. Their permit allowed for 42,000 cases and they produced 800k.
  14. We had to park down the block as the lot was completely full. Sorry for the shitty pic, but this was the best I could get. Sideways across three spots.
  15. We just stopped by Caymus to pick up a couple of bottles of Zin. It's a pretty cool outdoor tasting area with a bunch of people just getting hammered. It didn't seem like the worst way to spend an nice afternoon. It gets pretty crowded and they limit the number of people tasting so make a reservation if you want to go. I understand why the wine snobs hate it, but my wife's uncle buys us a case of the cab or Spec Sel each year so I've come to enjoy it.
