The only thing that makes sense is Sark wanted a spark in the run game. But should have subbed Goosby for a portion of those snaps once it became obvious we weren’t running on them. Water under the bridge
Me too. I think we should just take our lumps and let our young WRs gain valuable experience next season unless there’s a “can’t miss” portal prospect.
Good luck Quinn. I honestly think that initial injury vs Bama fucked his velocity up and he was never the same. His pocket presence and processing better improve or he’ll be out the NFL within a few years.
The NFL talking heads won’t admit that Herbert is a mid QB. They keep trying to make him into an upper echelon QB, lol. Texans Defense came ready today regardless.
And Sark took away snaps from Wingo and even Bolden to use Bond as a “decoy”. High ankle sprains linger for a long while. Agreed that he needed extended rest.
You put it perfectly…the O-line has good individual talent but lacks cohesion as a unit. While other teams with mash units have performed better. Flood needs to get his shit together too.
We were snakebit for sure. But could have used some veteran talent even if Baxter were healthy. That last minute grad-transfer dude who got hurt doesn’t count.
We’ll know more about Sark after 2027. He needs to grow from this. Hope Arch works out. I think we still need a bruiser portal back. Not sure how much Baxter will have recovered.
