  1. Just mentioned on the Matt Wells thread. I get it if he goes. But I don't think he will have a significant drop of at UTSA if he stays. Recruiting and talent in the area are there . They will compete and be a solid program if Traylor decides to stay for a little longer and waits for something better. That's my hope at least.
  2. This makes me very happy. But I understand the game. I'm a coach. I'm hopeful that he holds out for something bigger. He's going to stay successful at UTSA until the time is right.
  3. Guys, I was torn up this afternoon. I had to coach from 9 AM until 2 PM and I managed to miss all game updates. Got home to finish the UT game at 5:30 PM and I was crushed. But UTSA just made my night. Go Roadrunners. These kids just get after it. And I'm going to enjoy Traylor while we have him.
  4. Late night microwave nachos. Thick sliced cheese over a plate with as many chips as I can arrange in a single layer.
  5. Cloud FUCKING 9. What a win. Team stuck with it after a horrible start. Coaches adjusted
  6. Bummer end to the evening
  7. Snapped a cool photo prior to the start of the tournament on Saturday morning. We had 2 tanks going outside and 2 inside. My girls team was able to have a friendly scrimmage with Rocky Mountain Neptune out of Bolder on Friday night. Really strong team.
  8. Catching up on College Football after coaching 12 Water Polo games this weekend. I got home during the 3rd Quarter last night and got to see the exciting finish. Great start for UTSA!
  9. Welcome to Texas Shootout coming to San Antonio. Labor Day Weekend. Initially this was supposed to happen Memorial Day weekend, which would have brought in more teams. As it stands, close to 50 teams coming to play. September 4th and 5th at NISD Aquatic Center on 1604.
  10. By the way... this thread is responsible for fucking up my Intermittent Fasting attempt. I was good for about 7 days, saw the Taco House Nachos while about to fall asleep ( why I clicked on Food and Travel, I don't know), and suddenly got motivated to slice up some Tillamook and carefully arrange on a platter of chips.... with Jalapenos. Thanks Cajun. I will remain "stocky" for a while
  11. Thought I would post again since some of you have been able to take in some Water Polo during the Olympics. As I mentioned earlier, this sport has been taking off in Texas, and will grow even more in the next year. This was a crazy summer for a new Water Polo Club. We put our club together last August in Boerne since Comal had few restrictions, and we train at an outdoor pool. Club quickly grew from about 20 kids to 65 in May. Most of the kids drive in from San Antonio. I was able to take 3 teams to National Junior Olympics last week in Dallas. An 18U Boys team, a 16U Boys team, and a 16U girls team. There were close to 200 teams spread out across North Dallas. I was driving from Southlake, to Lewisville, to Garland every day. It was a beat down, but really fun. My kids got to play against teams from Oregon, Washington, Northern Illinois, Hawaii, St. Louis, Connecticut, and Florida. Some of the more established clubs from Texas finished on top of the standings (Thunder from Dallas and Viper Pigeons from Houston stood out). Texas will be turning out some of the best Water Polo players in the country soon. It's going to happen.
  12. I looked into them for my high school team this year...Lol! not going to happen. Very expensive
  13. I've had several Exchange Students with no water polo experience, but who played team handball in Europe or Brazil come in and pick up water polo quickly.
  14. Our shooting is off just a bit. Lot's of posts. Hungarians are really physical.
