This is exactly why mock drafts over a year out are useless. No one has actually watched film or broken down players that far in advance, so they just throw some names in there who were high rated recruits and played early in their careers. Mond’s athletic with a big arm and that’s pretty much all the thought these guys put into their picks. They also love to just throw shitty QBs in there because the position has a lot of value.

It was the same thing with CJ a year ago. he had early hype, he was big, and made some highlight reel catches, but a WR who runs in the high 4.6’s was never going to be a first round pick, but he was an easy name to throw in there.

It's simple clickbait, too. They're looking for curious or angry clicks from the biggest fan bases. Kellen Mond? That'll get curious Aggie clicks. Do we have anyone from Ohio State or Clemson we can drop to the 2nd round, get some angry clicks?

Theres a guy that someone from here (I cant remember who, it's been about 5 years) introduced me to who was sober for over 6 months, going to meetings and everything, he decided AA wasnt for him and decided to go drink. His life doesnt seem to be falling apart, at least not based on his social media. Super nice guy and seems to be doing well.

But let's be real, most people fall off a cliff.

For me, that acceptance and belief is a tremendously important milestone in my recovery. If there were still any illusions that I could have fun drinking, or find some escape or relief from whatever's ailing me in the moment, I would probably have relapsed by now.

At the same time, the other thing I had to learn was that that knowledge is valuable but not sufficient. I need all the other shit too, the meetings and the fellowship and the reading and quiet time, the spiritual connection to my Higher Power. God give me all that stuff, and I have a pretty good chance to get through today sober.

  4. It seems a little redundant, after adding a hard drive to a RAID 0 stripe, to have to tell Windows 10 to increase the stripe's total capacity to include the space from the new hard drive. Once the drive is in the stripe, how is its capacity not automatically rolled in...?

we can afford it, demand for tickets will be through the roof-- the first post-COVID Texas football game??? people will be lined up for miles, although that will be partly because of the 15-foot mandatory Avoidance Halo

So again, we are all about to be forced to become vegan?

well, I hope not, but I don't really want the government telling the workers "you have to go back to work"

now, since we all seem to be in universal agreement that regardless of party the modern American president is supposed to be like Oprah giving shit away, then if the Feds want to backstop the meat processors financially so they can pay hazard pay for workers who VOLUNTEER to come in and work at a place where the infection rate is apparently almost 25%, I guess that would be OK

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Bird was in the same camp as Jordan as far as not wanting Isiah in the team, but that’s purely speculation in my part.

Likewise. I feel like people give the lasting hard feelings from the Bulls-Pistons rivalry a lot more attention than those from the Pistons-Celtics rivalry.

The reason Jordan wasn't a bitch is that he wasn't seeking anyone's approval...but he was going to beat your ass... regardless.

Jordan could not accept not having scoreboard. Magic was the same way, Bird was the same way, Isiah was the same way. The precise degree of calibration might have been different among the four of them, but they all had that same pathological need to win, partly because none of them grew up expecting or even hoping to make a hundred million dollars playing basketball and hawking Sprite.
