  1. Pretty sure that’s a B&G Little Sister. Made in Tel Aviv. https://www.bngguitars.com
  2. A friend of mine and former band mate owns one of these original Schecter PT’s from the 80s. Bought it from Zach Blair the guitarist from Rise Against back in the late 90s when he was in Hagfish. That Tele is about as rock and roll as it gets. Just a killer guitar that plays like butter.

  4. This guy follows SurlyHorns on Twitter. It’s almost a certainty that he posts on here.
  5. Texas Heart and Vascular in south Austin can check her out. I see Dr. Nguyen there. https://thandv.com/physicians/profile/Dr-Vinh-D-Nguyen-DO
  6. In the pic above, it looks like his tone knobs are rolled back a little compared to the volume knob. I’m watching this video Isbell did with Gibson and he talks about his ‘58 Strat which I believe is the video in the pic. The Strat with the rosewood neck is a ‘60 IIRC. In the video he talks about how he replaced the stock (at the time) 3-position switch on the ‘58 with a 5-position switch so he could use the fourth position. Can’t say with certainty that’s what you were hearing, but he’s a fan of using the neck and middle pickups together on a maple fretboard Strat. He then mentions that he likes using the neck pickup on Strats with slab rosewood fretboards like the ‘60. You can skip to the 55 minute mark to hear him talk about the ‘58 Strat, but you’ll want to watch the entire video.
  7. Just ran across this one on eBay. Unfortunately someone added a middle pickup and another switch. Starting bid is $955, auction ends tomorrow. Buy It Now is $1800 lol. https://www.ebay.com/itm/145318795438?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=f7jKi5wnTFa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=bJTNX8iXTSy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Edit: A couple versions of this tweet is going around. Budanov supposedly also said he couldn’t confirm the death of Sokolov. I want to believe this recent strike knocked out multiple Russian military leaders, but I’m a bit skeptical as VOANews, which is supposedly the source, has not reported Budanov’s comments. Or if they have, I haven’t seen it.
  9. Yep I'm in season 6, which I think is 2014. There was an episode where it looked to be Texas OU on their tv. I didn't know Pete went to UT. That's cool. I took Thomas Whitbread’s Creative Writing: Poetry class with Mark back in 96 or 97. It was a small class of maybe 20 where we critiqued and discussed each other’s work. He was working on both film and music at the time. He was friendly, good-natured, somewhat unassuming. It was cool to see him and his brother have some success starting with The Puffy Chair a few years later.
