  1. If the recipient is a known bookie, he’s in deep shit. If not, you’d need the recipient’s bank and credit card records. Recipient was probably a buddy who was placing bets for him.
  2. He also sent the same guy money for soccer gambling. All we have to do is determine who the recipient was. Too bad the NCAA doesn’t have subpoena power. (Do they?)
  3. He should’ve claimed the AI defense. That stupid bastard really wrote that in his memo line? Good news is he’s got to be too stupid to read a defense.
  4. It’s not the mystery that’s the problem. It’s the issue of physical limitations. It’s hard for a 6’7” dude to stay in front of a guy moving that fast, that low to the ground, without holding. It can be done, but it’s neither fun nor easy, and it takes exceptional talent that most big guys don’t possess. It’s stressful. The answer, of course, is to do what the Eagles do to Micah Parsons. Bury his ass.
  5. Watching his highlights, the kid is a legit pass-rushing animal. His first step is elite, and he stays low. He has pass-rush moves that most kids his age don’t have. He uses his hands well and dips his shoulders to avoid contact. He’s going to be a problem for any OL to try to get his hands on. He’s a situational player, though. He won’t be able to hold up against the run if you run right at him. But I don’t want to dismiss it as though I don’t care that he’s going to those mouth-breathers. He’ll be a pain in the ass. I just appreciate the staff making wise financial decisions and not over-spending. Hopefully it results in landing a bigger fish down the road.
  6. Cross-posting from the OU recruiting thread. My OU buddy (yes, I have one) was explaining why this dude was so important, despite his choosing between OU, Houston, Baylor and UF. Aaaaand they lost him. Hilarious. 😂
  7. Screen shot from OU buddy explaining how important Groce was to them. 🤣 I love that they declared him a top 50 WR while he’s deciding between OU, UF, Baylor and Houston. Hilarious.
  8. If Arbuckle and Mateer don’t live up to the hype, it will break them.
  9. His film looks really good, objectively. I hope he’s maxed out, physically.
  10. I hope he’s just as productive as the rest of their “5 star” high school recruits.
  11. They are desperate for recruiting win. I can definitely see them going over the top for this one. Might as well. No one else wants what little money they have.
  12. Perhaps you have BO&W on ignore.
  13. Any word from OTF on this one today? I know Gerry was at 80% over the weekend
  14. Gerry said anything about this today?
  15. Next stop will either be Canada or the pen.
  16. You’re the one deciding to die on a hill made of cow manure. You’re acting like there’s a comparison to be made between Lubbock and Ann Arbor. You’ve made yourself an easy target. I’ve said nothing about Austin. I’ve only pointed out that the analogies you’ve attempted to make are moronic. Not sure what about my response makes me the sensitive one. You’re continuing to double down on stupid takes and an apparent reading disability. Enjoy the consequences.
  17. The cloak room… The Lubbock of Surly.
  18. You’ve never been to Ann Arbor. I’ve been to five of the six towns mentioned here, if you include Lubbock. I know nothing about West Lafayette. Including Ann Arbor was objectively stupid. You’ll never live that down. As for East Lansing, Stillwater and Starkville, they are bad, but are saved by the fact that you can get to civilization in about two hours or less. Lubbock is a shit hole surrounded by hundreds of miles of desolation and tumbleweeds.
  19. Name is vaguely familiar, but I really don’t remember much about this recruitment. I assume we’re just included here so he can say he chose whomever over Texas?
  20. You, sir, are underrated.
  21. I went to high school with this guy’s son, whose name was, Bear, and who had a sister named, Crimson. I never put two and two together until their old man did that.
