  1. That's why it's so easy for them to still vote for trump. They're so delusional from decades of brainwashing they'll still support pure corruption and evil as long as it has the republican badging on it. Luckily I don't have any family here other than parents and they can't vote so don't give a shit about US politics. They still follow UK ones mostly. But my wife's family has some west Texas country members who aren't bad people when you know them but they're incapable of realizing how badly republicans are harming their future prospects for healthcare, employment, and a manageable ecosystem. The idiots you see driving around with trump flags and on caravans are pure evil pieces of shit. Most voters of his are people that aren't necessarily evil just too stupid and brainwashed to recognize it's coming wrapped in their own brand.
  2. The only people that benefit from trump are multi millionaires/billionaires who benefit from the raping of proper regulation/oversight/and taxation done by republicans. All other supporters, no matter the race, are too stupid to see they're voting to harm themselves too
  3. How well are those people guarded? Because if it isn't near president level now it won't be long before someone realizes how easy it can be to take an opportunist shot. It's the danger of the supreme court being politicized. Shouldn't have happened but here were are.
  4. How did Wentz get a second contract? I mean even Baker's sorry bitch ass carved up this terrible defense
  5. NiDouchey is so so bad. So Terrible. I love it
  6. Well the team is right in the middle of a conference title race and everyone wants to fire the coach. A day after a big road win over a top 10 team. Those aren't the actions of a fan base that knows it's place in the world and that they just aren't a program that is anywhere near competing for a national title. If you want to fire him for the Urban Meyer hail mary shot? Ok, I get it. But if all you focus on is being able to compete for national titles you'll constantly be disappointed since outside of a fluke 9 year window to start the century you aren't that level of program since the early 1970s. Be happy and excited for a potential conference title run now that you just knocked off the conference leader.
  7. You no google? Took 1 easy search for Texas and 1 easy search for minnesota. Like 3 min Also, NFL football is awesome. Been watching since 2009. College football sucks
  8. OU probably not. The others yes and you do compete with them. On similar levels
  9. You're living on the past. Like distant past. Outside of the Vince-McCoy years Texas has been middling since before most of us here were born. From 2010-2019 you average 7 wins a season. Earlier someone said Texas isn't a middling program like Minnesota. Well in the last 10 seasons Texas has 0 conference titles and 0 11+ win seasons. Minnesota has 0 conference titles and 1 11 win season. Just the facts bro. It would be cool since I found this site if y'all would find a way to compete but as it is now and has been for a while now you just don't. You should set your sights on conference titles and nothing more.
  10. Where Clemson located? In the Southeast. Where does the bulk of the talent that Alabama and Georgia and LSU pile up from? The Southeast. Clemson already had ready-made advantages to be exploited that Texas just doesn't have. Texas HS has good skill position guys and some QBs but the lineman in this state are absolute trash. You'll never win with Texas linemen again. HS football in Texas is spread heavy and soft. Urban would have to import all his linemen from the Southeast and Midwest. That would be his biggest challenge. Also, I know your middling program has you all flustered but no need for name calling.
  11. Oh so we're looking at 4 years in the future? Once China releases a much much much worse virus after seeing how America can't handle it with it's shit leadership and whiny, entitled, stupid population? Giddy up
  12. I didn't. Came to this board as I found out in search for something else. I went to an Ivy league school so college football wasn't a big thing. I've tried to watch it over the years here and there since my friends are into it but it just really really sucks I have followed Texas this year since I post here and what I've seen is an unbiased outside view and you just aren't anywhere on the same level as a top program and I only see one possible way to get there. You won't get there with the lack of talent you have now but 3-5 programs have a monopoly on all the top level talent. College football is like EPL. It's why I don't watch that much either
  13. Newsflash. Texas is a middling program. Sooner you realize it the happier you'll be just watching the game to enjoy it. The only hope you have is to hire Urban and hope he can bring a big enough share of those five stars with him just by reputation. if they aren't getting the numbers that Alabama and Clemson and Ohio State get they will never compete with them.
  14. Tom Herman isn't that bad of a coach. He's just getting one or two five stars a year while the top three teams get double digits every year
  15. Only Alabama and Clemson with Lawrence consistently look good. Every other team is great one week and complete shit the next. Some just manage to sneak a win out even when looking like shit. It's why I hate college football and giving it a chance this year just reaffirmed that. Also the playoff system with only 4 teams made it worse and made the gap wider. It's Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State getting all the top players in the country every year and it's not even close. Then they make the playoffs even if they lose a game or two because it's by committee and the committee knows those three get the best players in the country every year. So those 3 always get showcased in the playoffs and therefore always get the best players for the next year. Texas is out of that loop and unless it gets a coach that cuts into that three team share for the top talent it'll never change. The NFL is FAR superior because of the hard cap and draft situation. It's why an ok schematic coach like Saban can post up and out talent everyone in college but got his shit pushed in once the field was level in the NFL.
  16. Oh please let this be true. The shit show hilarity will reach all time highs as cowboy fan may go full Jonestown.
  17. Whether he liked it or not Scots are Brits too
  18. I'm british so I can say it... james bond .movies suck
  19. I was running through a bunch of these videos saying "nope, nope, nope" after a few seconds of these mostly horrid covers then saw the thumbnail for this and thought no way they're covering Ace. But hell yeah they threw out some yacht rock! Nice
  20. Feeling anxious about this damn election. Just can't shake a bad feeling enough Americans are really the level of fucked up to want to keep this piece of shit and his errand boys in the Senate around
  21. I used to think he was a chiropractor. Now I think he's too stupid even for that and is one of those faith healers with magic stones and shit calling himself a doctor. This crusade against masks is just as stupid as the flat earth people. There are many countries around the world that have shown that near 100 percent compliance with mask usage and other recommended safety measures keeps the outbreaks very low and manageable. Key words "near 100 percent compliance". I'm America it's completely these trump idiots' fault the spread is this bad. You can't have 60 percent compliance. And can't have only masks but no other precautions. Have to be fully committed as a society.
  22. After remaining stable during the early 2000s, the prevalence of mental health issues among U.S. adolescents and young adults began to rise in the early 2010s. These trends included sharp increases in depression, anxiety, loneliness, self‐harm, suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, and suicide, with increases more pronounced among girls and young women. There is a growing consensus that these trends may be connected to the rise in technology use. https://prcp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/appi.prcp.20190015 It's definitely just another form of addiction and seems to hit girls the hardest. Maybe because of their biological make up emphasizing social connections more strongly as a way of navigating life as opposed to males that gravitate towards physical strength and pragmatism.
