The script is already written. It's really more of an outline than a script, in that the outcomes are dependent on each other, but it's done.
There will be three meetings of Georgia and Texas this season. In this first one, it is anticipated that Texas will prevail, but the Dawgs might win if their QB has a stellar day against our DBs. Either way, it likely will be reffed to a one-possession final margin.
The second meeting, of course, will be in the CCG. In it, the loser of the first game will win. The preferred, although not required, is that Georgia wins the CCG, simply because the members are quite adamant about not having Texas walk into the conference and snatch the trophy. This, of course, means that we win the first game, but if we don't, we will be rewarded with the conference crown instead.
Both teams will be in the playoffs - the CCG winner of course being in the top four, and the loser in the other eight. It makes things more comfortable if two-loss Georgia is the top four team, as a one-loss Texas is inarguably included in the playoffs. This makes me think the refs either allow or assist us in the first game.
The third meeting is in the playoffs. Ideally in the Grand Finale, but the politicking required to insure that may be beyond Commissioner Stankey's reach.
We shall see.
