  1. Never clip the red wire. Or the black one, either.
  2. Texas - 3 1/2 is tempting, no shit.
  3. Watched the replay. Meatchicken D looked pretty good, O not so much. Fresno D not too bad, O meh, QB not accurate. Less than a TD lead with 5 or 6 minutes to go is a close game, but two TDs after makes it looks more dominant than it was. Didn't seem like the weasels were sandbagging, and if that's true, I'm not too worried about our game. Don't expect them to put up 30 on us, don't think they can hold us under 30. Spread at 6 1/2 is probably close, but maybe on the low side.
  4. Kendra Scott ads popping up here. Sark available yet?
  5. Combing his good hair and talking to his famous family?
  6. Is Garrett Riley just a bad copy of his brother or is Dabo holding the offense back? Does Clemson really not have a QB?
  7. From the article, Naahh... Samsonite actually damn good stuff - was, any road. Prime traveling analogy more like brown paper bag from grocery store. It is sad, though, no doubt his salesmanship talents could be put to good use, but he just can't bring himself to do it.
  8. Reminds me of that time the asshole at the next table stepped over, said something like "That's enough outta yer mouth, let's take it outside," and Donnie took off his specs, took out his teeth, handed 'em to me and Red, put on the biggest gummiest grin you ever saw, and said (approximating here) "Naw, wigh' heah be fahn." It was, but not for errbody. FIGHT!!!!!!!
  9. The funny thing about it was that it was a reversak of the hiring. I think many people felt that Texas was going to hire a black coach any way possible. Even James Franklin got a good long look, but there was too much Bayloresque about the Vandy program at the time. Firing, there was some racism talk, but yeah, not much traction. The KU loss was fortuitous, no doubt about it.
  10. I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone exclaiming over the savory goodness of a cuppa decaf. Apparently, your mileage varies.
  11. Corso played in college in early 1950s, which means he played both ways. After an INT, Corso would stay on the field and QB the team. Did Prime play offense, too? /THunter
  12. I recall that Luck apparently refused to guarantee that he'd fire FUPM. Not that he wouldn't, just that he'd have to look over the whole situation. And then... Patterson...
  13. Fewer. Unless you just want shorter and/or skinnier aggy...
  14. NA beer has always seemed to me to be like Decaf coffee - is there really any point to consuming drugs with the active drug ingredient absent? Non-Alcoholic Beer - When you don't want to get drunk, but want to pee a lot.
  15. Is there any truth to the rumor that Biff is on the short list of replacements for Elko?
  16. Fraudulent. Moon Pie in 1917 was only chocolate. I understand you want to believe, but they're lying to you.
  17. Advertising fraud. Banana Moon Pie was never even thought of, much less made, in 1917. Surly there must be lawyers ready to litigate, around here somewhere.
  18. Has anyone ever seen Treaty Oak and Klubnik Pere in the same soom at the same time?
  19. I remember 59, with 34 of that being on the last, garbage-time "drive", at 7-31. I also remember that SEC had the opportunity to pair us against aggy, but chose not to, possibly at aggy request. And praise jebus for that, 'cause it seemed like it coulda been an epic ass-fucking instead of ... never mind, it was actually an epic ass-fucking anyway.
  20. I'd think Charlie Strong could be a test case for 100% live AI replacement of actual speech. The only potential problem would be if the AI was unable to create some of the takes that seemed impossible to predict in the Surly Shared Experience. Thinking of having to have the ref explain to you that declining a penalty called against your opponent was not in your best interest. "No-brainer" took on a whole new meaning with Charlie.
