  1. The script is already written. It's really more of an outline than a script, in that the outcomes are dependent on each other, but it's done. There will be three meetings of Georgia and Texas this season. In this first one, it is anticipated that Texas will prevail, but the Dawgs might win if their QB has a stellar day against our DBs. Either way, it likely will be reffed to a one-possession final margin. The second meeting, of course, will be in the CCG. In it, the loser of the first game will win. The preferred, although not required, is that Georgia wins the CCG, simply because the members are quite adamant about not having Texas walk into the conference and snatch the trophy. This, of course, means that we win the first game, but if we don't, we will be rewarded with the conference crown instead. Both teams will be in the playoffs - the CCG winner of course being in the top four, and the loser in the other eight. It makes things more comfortable if two-loss Georgia is the top four team, as a one-loss Texas is inarguably included in the playoffs. This makes me think the refs either allow or assist us in the first game. The third meeting is in the playoffs. Ideally in the Grand Finale, but the politicking required to insure that may be beyond Commissioner Stankey's reach. We shall see. Hook'em
  2. No question.
  3. I don't care what the score is, we win, and most likely cover the Vegas line. SEC head office recognizes we are going to be the cash cow for the next few years, and there is no way they will let the refs do anything to let UGA win. Bank it.
  4. Jimbo Fisher is laughing his ass off.
  5. I wanted Straight Arrow, but Cool Arrow is what I got.
  6. Half the time there isn't enough time. New aggy motte toe?
  7. Thanks for saying what goes without saying. Although, we'll have to overlook your capitalization faux pas of referencing a&m as A&M. 's OK, this time, but don't make a habit of it.
  8. aggy got best loss in cfb and t-sips got no loss at all.
  9. I dunno if Mack has the mindset to be able to hang 'em up, smile, wave, and bask in whatever good will is left. Reminds me of one of Ron White's lines: "They told me I had the right to remain silent, but I didn't have the ability." Mack knows that the "right thing" is to admit that being a football Head Coach is beyond the faculties he still has, at his age, and urge the 'Heels to start a youth movement. He does know this, but I suspect his ego will get the better of him, and despite pleas and good intentions from everyone around him, he'll make them fire him. I kinda wish he'll go on his own, dignity intact. I kinda feel like I could forgive him for the way he left here. Kinda, but... no. Fuck Mack
  10. Yah. It went straight to the coffee can with the other 497 keys and 53 key rings. Sweater gawd I'm gonna make a lamp shade outta that shit someday.
  11. The same words I used when Miz Long asked what I thought about the game. "Well, babe, Quinn was not what he's been in the first few games, so maybe a C for the offense, but 0U was so bad we won handily..." That said, we need Quinn to be back to Meatchicken form. We get that, we win. We don't get that, it gets dicey, but I think the strong D comes through for us. Hook'em
  12. Pas de contraire. Nous n'avons rien vu.
  13. Fortunately for him, there are people even stupider, who apparently believe that hiring him to write stupid shit is a good way to keep newspapers relevant.

Been really liking his effort and intensity for a couple of seasons now. This is what Coach means when he tells you "All I want is all you have."

  16. Follow the TV money. Biggest audience gets the call.
  17. I grew up hearing "We'll see" from my Mom. A lot. As far as I recall now, we rarely, if ever, did in fact see. I prefer "Hide and watch, my man" - which admittedly is pretty much the same response, but I don't think Mom ever said it... so there's that. Hide and watch, my man.
  18. What a Play! Took just a few seconds to go from Shit YEAH! to Awwww SHIT! to Holy SHIT! Like Stonie Clark's Sudden Stop, this is a Forever Highlight for Silas. Congratulations to him. This is why you Play the Game. This is why we Follow the Game.
  19. Don't get me wrong, I definitely do not advocate either of those two. I've been to the Game double-digit times, the final score has made some trips considerably less pleasant, but the Fair itself is a great part of the experience. Fuck yeah, let's keep it - "the OU game" - right where it is. Hook'em
  20. So... Jerrah World, or Home'n'Home?
  21. What are your criteria for fractional persons? I could see counting amputations, but height, weight, circumference, or some sort of length might be used.
  22. You've spelt "thujone" incorrectly. Not to mention Da Vinci...
  23. On the other hand, it explains the eye-level ass cheeks better than assuming Drebin is a dwarf a midget a little man a small person vertically challenged . Or that the cheeky one was twelve feet tall and could still get in an elevator...
  24. The 2023 game was made possible to lose by the turnovers. However, the Offense staked us to a 3-point lead with 77 seconds to play and handed over the game to the Defense to close out. OU got the ball, 75 yards from our goal and no timeouts. It took OU five plays and 62 seconds to score. We had two timeouts, might've wanted to usevat least one when clock was already stopped, you know, to see if PK and the D staff could figure something out... Meh, woulda coulda shoulda. Ain't gonna need that this season.
  25. From 400 miles West and 10 miles North of Austin TEXAS!!!
