  1. The plot and cast seems excellent, but the name lacks incisiveness. I'm leaning toward Fryed Vagina, but there could be wokeness problems, so maybe Fryed Organs? Naaah... I'm stumped (or would be on the wrong part of the set) - y'all can do better, I know.
  2. Sure, if reading about the RBs being lamed left and right is your idea of stoked.
  3. Damn, a new goalpost: traditional redzone. So, taking tradition into account (does that smell like aggy?) we were actually 4-5 in redone or redzone or Red Zone? Never mind that, the fact is the last two trips to La Zona Roja we had 7 passes and no runs. Two passes were completed, for 6 and -1. At least Bert hit the FG, or there wouldn't even have been another trip. But, settling for a FG with a minute left and 8 points behind doesn't seem like anything other than reading a page out of the Binder of Conventional Wisdom. Call it what you like, but I see it as Red Zone Issue.
  4. Despite fumbleitis and shit coverage, we had the win for the taking at the end. PI was the nail, but there's that lingering Sark vs The Red Zone stuff. Did Bama have any of that with OC Sark?
  5. Seems like there was a rumor that Patterson had offered advice to help stop Penix, but was rebuffed. The fact that Az State, Ore State, and Wazzu all held the Huskies well under what we did still rankles.
  6. Sure. But that doesn't mean you have to take his questions at press conferences.
  7. Yormark might be the guy to make sure the stands are packed. I've always thought it stupid that folks let "big" games get broadcast with half empty stadia. Fucking bus them in and pay them to come inside. Free beer, half-time $100,000 drawing, whatever. Fill it up, make it loud. The advertisers would approve and the concessions would be pleased.
  8. Faster Than Wisdom is a fine name for a band. Or a nice motto for the Corps...
  9. An occasional sildenafil 100 for effect. I'm a lifelong low, slow pulse guy with resting pr 55 sleeping 50, bp 125/75 both +/- 5. Hitting the boner pill or the flower drops those a bit. My neuro is 165 mi away, haven't called for appt, betting 30-60 days out when I do. "Call your Doctor if your erection lasts more than four hours" is the most brilliant bit of advertising of all time.
  10. You've spelt "constipated" incorrectly. For non-medicated types, "full of shit" is the preferred nomenclature.
  11. After watching the complete meltdown against Stanford, I have a hard time seeing any game as a probable win. Seems like the Under is the right bet.
  12. Wrong Mitchell. And he's moving pretty well.
  13. Okay, apparently I'm having a Bad Day. I should have specified that I would like to see Mitchell struggling to run on or off at any time previous to Fall Camp. I was thinking maybe the spring game or any of last season's fourteen games - assuming he played at all.
  14. Does it count of you have multiple wall calendars from years past... although not on the wall any longer? And how about recordings on wax, vinyl, tape reel, 8-track tape, cassette tape...? Sorry, no cylinders.
  15. Is your name Claude? We had a guy named Claude in the Instructors' office back in grad school. Claude was a Domer, and he only knew two things about football: 1. Notre Dame had the bestest football team evar evar, always. 2. Notre Dame football players were the only college football players who had to take a pay cut when they went to the Pros.
  16. Dunno. Maybe Kurt? He still reads Surly, right? I don't care if it's a reporter or not. I wouldn't expect a reporter to do so, good or bad. There are plenty of folks here who post clips all the time, so maybe one of them?
  17. I'm sure I'm not alone, and we all love you, too.
  18. AP poll over that way --> Meanwhile - I didn't really notice Mitchell not being able to run on or off. I know this is Surly, but I assume anyway that the problem is at least slightly real. Somebody plese post a clip of him struggling to run on or off?
  19. Apparently power tools are like media productions. There are only five or six companies that make all fifteen different major brands, and for most of them the only functional difference is color and/or sexual orientation. Your preference will lead you to choose, and whether chosen well or poorly for you is perfectly acceptable to the manufacturers.
  20. I apologize for confusing you, but saying you're not going to compare, after comparing and followed by continuing to compare doesn't improve whatever your argument is. The actual point I was trying to make was not about petulant assiness, it was "Fuck You, Pay Me" conflation. I thought it was clear by using the term FUPM, but I was wrong. At least, in your case. Clearly, I have failed you, and probably others. I accept that and will trouble the thread no more... at least, not on that point.
  21. To be completely fair, Insight Panic is a decent name for a band... although Vague Post is not far behind.
  22. In a way, he is very much like Coach FUPM, but with a different demeanor and considerably less on-the-field coaching success. And... the Name of the Game is Entertainment. Are-you-not-entertained.gif
