  1. "Obliterated" is Latin for "danced with monkeys", sip. To bad you're school is no good.
  2. Chuck it in me dumpah - Aus.
  3. Seems like we've had late flips our way so far, so yeah. Also, he may have learned a thing or two from the GOAT... I'm still kinda thinking Banma's first call, when Nick told them he was done, was to Sark.
  4. Just tryin' ta keep the games interesting, you know, no channel flipping, keep those eyeballs on the ads games?
  5. He needs a visit from Nurse Ratched.
  6. Or... if not, that it gets non-called both ways. I'll settle for either.
  7. I tend to agree with the take of there being a slew of unrealistic offers in play. NIL things that aren't going to be getting funded over the fall. Between that and various under-performances, there will be flips a-plenty. Of course, there is also the expectation of high performance by the Horns. Hook'em
  8. I don't follow him. Is he always this shitty about all things Texas? I mean, you know, uhhh, some writers are that way, and it would explain - although not excuse - this behavior.
  9. Have noticed dearth of clips for several years. Figgered it was subsumed under "illegal block in the back", as the relatively few actions seen that qualified - to me - as "clipping" did in fact get called "illegal... back".
  10. The Original Dickbutt. Ancient Rome.
  11. Not gonna take an F from teechur who can't spell "relevant". Although, mind you, "revelant" is a perfectly good word, but context says she probably doesn't know that. I'd blame Otto Korekt, but I don't think he lives in a red pen.
  12. Past is past... I feel good about Sept 7. I felt we matched up better against Meatchicken than UW did, in the CFP. Too bad we didn't get there, but, uhhhh past is past. Now, we look like we've got as good as lsat season, maybe better. It remains to be seen if the WR room is all we think, but the OL should be good or better, RB likewise, so offense in general good as or better, and QB isn't remotely an issue. Defensively, the middle almost has to drop off, but edge looks better, ILB should be close or better, and DB has to be better. Kicking? Got Bert back, not sure about holder, but... Punting? From what we've been hearing, we're not going to be punting, and if we do some, just need to make sure and not get blocked. Meatchicken lost a lot, apparently much more than we did, player-wise. And of course the Coaching turnover is huge. It's a good thing we get them early, before they have a chance to really gel. And those are pretty much the main reasons I feel confident about the game - today. Of course we've still got weeks to go, so things can certainly change, but today? Today I've got a W next to this game.
  13. FIX-un-uh
  14. Of course it's speculation. Duh? What isn't speculation is that it was the first time in ten tries Alabama was actually able to outscore Texas. The proximate cause of the loss, of you want to pin it on one thing, was Mack Brown's lack of preparation. Having as backup QB a true freshman, and giving that freshman nothing but garbage-time snaps consisting mostly of handoffs to fourth-string RBs was abject stupidity. That freshman was beyond bad, but Muschamp's D held Alabama in check, to the point that we were only 3 points down as the game drew to close. Desperation play-calling turned that from an incredibly close game to a scoreboard blowout... which was not indicative of the actuality. Mack's continued dogshit coaching was allowed to go on for more seasons, and his replacements turned out to be a dumbass followed by a certified asshole. Sark has turned out to be better than we probably deserve, but I'll take it. Hook'em.
  15. Sound plan.
  16. As said elsewhere elsewhen, I like Josh. All but the aggy fellation, but I understand piper payers call the tune, so... His schtick is corny as can be - I compare him to HeeHaw, which was every bit as country corny, but with damned good musicians (well, and those HeeHawHoneys). He's definitely interesting, right about a lot (other than aggy), and he pretty much eats that crow when he fucks up. I like Joel Klatt better, but Pate's not at all bad.
  17. Strap them kids in Give 'em a little bit of vodka In a cherry coke We're goin' to Oklahoma
  18. No! No! "Blow" is a figure of speech. Suck. Dammit.
  19. Moist not gonna cut it. Friction optimization demands a Pam sploosh.
  20. Yeah, but at least it wasn't a fifteen-second ad for Levis or Chuck Taylors...
  21. User name and whatnot.
  22. Friend had one of the first Honda two-wheelers in America, a little 150. Owner Manual was in Japlish, mostly with diagrams and numbers. Most inscrutable page was NOTICE! STANDING AT STOP NOT TO BLIPPING THROTTLE!
  23. My Universal Answer to any question that starts "Do you want to..." is nearly always "No, but if you need it, I'll damn sure do it."
  24. This is a pretty damn good idea. Good work, man. I think it could be improved by having an instant sign-on that can be used in the actual moment of need. Write it off as "car trouble" - as in "If I drove my car, I could be in trouble".
