  1. Yeah, 220, 221; whatever it takes.
  2. Linus Baer? How old are you? (PS: Me, too.)
  3. Hell of a price to pay, but at least we've opened a schollie.
  4. Can he teach them how do drop interceptions that hit them right between the 2 and the 1? You know, interceptions that could WOULD have led to a spot in the BCS natty. Can he teach them that?
  5. Really great rack. What else is there?
  6. The hate, it's deep and lasting. I like it.
  7. If Trump had let those tens of thousands of Cowboy fans massed at our southern border in, yesterday's result would have been different.
  8. Well, we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America!
  9. So he's a coach on the field? Didn't we have one of those a few years ago--uh, uh, what was that kid's name? Faint, wispy images come and go . . . IHOP, . . . Jones Stadium . . . Lest I send a mixed message: I'm damn glad Jones is coming back. The other couch-on-the-field, not so much.

It was ever thus, and ever shall it be.
  11. Get him a ladder, you know, like the one the Longhorn Band director uses. Remember in college when The Herd picked up and carried Leftwich down the field because of his knee injury? Well, . . .
  12. Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking. Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei, and Wernher Von Braun.
  13. Naw, man, I'm pretty fuckin' far from OK.
  14. Are there any, like, you know, American chicks there?
  15. In coaching there's a mandate to win and it's a zero-sum game: for every winner there's a loser. Winner's laugh and tell jokes; losers . . . well, they hit the breadlines.
  16. What he said. Winning cures all ills. I expect that some, if not all, the Beck criticisms that were valid when we went 7-6 are still valid, but it's hard to bring out the torches and pitchforks right about now.
  17. One of the big questions we face in getting to elite-level is this: How long can we keep Orlando? And, yes, Hand has been a Godsend, but Orlando's much more marketable. Orlando will (eventually) leave for the right HC position. With Hand, all we have to do is keep him from being poached and if it's solely a question of money, well, we are Texas, after all.
  18. I think there's some Browning in there somewhere, and he'd be pissed.
  19. This from those dumbfucks over at texags: "Don't be an idiot. 'Bama (SEC Champion) just beat OU (Big 12 Champion).GA whining about not being in CFB Playoffs got hit by a right hook. Woke up in 4th Quarter when it too late. Lessons learned but they are not us. We run the state of Texas & will run all of CFB in less than 36 mos. can't stop, won't stop...You guys are so easily triggered by these wanna be's (tu)."
  20. I fully expected to see our OL and DL get handled by UGA. Both units acquitted themselves really, really well. Kudos to Hand, especially.
