Coach chugs pregame beer, hands out pizza and leads team to victory
Tim Beck does it all in guiding Coastal Carolina to key win

Stop me if you've heard this one.
Nevermind, you haven't.
A college football head coach walked onto the set of a live, pregame national TV broadcast and ... proceeded to chug a beer.
Yes, Tim Beck did that Thursday night.
Beck manned up while the rest of the set -- former Florida coach Dan Mullen chief amongst them -- had a modest little sip and then stared in awe at Coastal Carolina's head man.
Beck pounded the beer, crushed the can and then watched his Chanticleers do the exact same to regional rival Appalachian State in an 38-24 win.
The victory was much-needed for Coastal, which pushed above .500 on the season to 5-4 and kept postseason bowl hopes alive.
The Mountaineers dipped to 4-5 and face tenuous times in Boone, N.C.
Hardly done with a single beer in an act of solidarity among his campus denizens, Beck then also proceeded to dish out free pizzas to students and fans postgame after the convincing victory.
It was a signature moment to jump-start college football's Week 11 weekend slate of games.
