  1. AUSTIN, Texas — Two Texas starters - running back Quintrevion Wisner and defensive tackle Alex January - were being held out of the Longhorns' home opener against San Jose State Saturday due to minor injuries, sources close to the situation told Horns247.
  2. My guess he got dinged a little at the end of OSU and want to be careful. Wouldnt be shocked if they do the same with Baxter against Sam Houston. With the playoffs extending the season, expect some load management on RBs to reduce wear and tear.
  3. With the number of jackass on this site, that shouldnt be a problem....
  4. Just got done with this…. Holy shit does Matter have inconsistent form and constant misses arm side high. OU OL couldn’t get push vs Ill St and Matter is reckless running the ball. If he keeps this up (which if you watched last years film he will) he will get knocked out of several games this year.
  5. Pros: We can now run both IZ and OZ effectively. Maybe its the new interior OL, maybe the threat of Arch running, maybe its just the OSU was worried about how well we ran OZ last year, but whatever the reason, we can now run IZ. Endries was not as much of a liability as a blocker as people tried to make him be. Very happy with him and he may become a safety blanket for Arch. Bouwmeester is a MASSIVE improvement Cons: Last year Sideshow Bob ruined Sark's belief in kicking a FG and we may never kick one again Mosley being out makes our youth and lack of experience at WR obvious and allows better secondaries to gang up on Wingo and jam/disrupt the routes of the younger WRs. Moore was not effective.
  6. UTSA is done. Meep meep is out of gas and A&M is just stacking the A gap now and daring UTSA to try and do anything else
  7. "That might have been a hold on the big fella" No fucking shit
  8. UTSA D returns no starters.... and its pretty obvious...
  9. A&M offenses seems pretty offensive so far
  10. A&M DT's are getting pushed 2 yards off the ball every running play
  11. So wanting FSU to go down and score one more TD
  12. and worse the guys in the booth and the replay guy both missed that the FSU player never hit Williams...
  13. Is FSU going to get a penalty for targeting on their own player?
  14. Bama is straight up not ready to play against this FSU offense. They just don't seem like the Bama of old on D and Simpson is not good enough to make up for a meh D.
  15. Does it seem like Simpson is always throwing off of his back foot?
  16. Bama losing their starting RB for the season should have been a huge redflag for this game. Young QB, shaking OL, no real RB...
  17. ESPN is reaching here. "Off Target %" is a real obscure stat to pull out. And only over the last 10 years huh? So going 19/30 (63%) on target (so completions + drops) is worse than some of these stinkers in the last 10 years? Unfortunate;y I don't have drop rates on some of these beauties... Tyrone Swoopes (2015-2016): November 26, 2015 vs. Texas Tech – 9/18 (50.0%), 52 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 63.2 rating. Jerrod Heard (2015-2017): October 3, 2015 @ TCU – 8/20 (40.0%), 48 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs, 60.2 rating. Shane Buechele (2016-2018): November 25, 2016 vs. TCU – 16/39 (41.0%), 218 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 82.9 rating. Sam Ehlinger (2017-2020): November 24, 2017 vs. Texas Tech – 26/47 (55.3%), 239 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 96.5 rating. Casey Thompson (2018-2021): November 20, 2021 @ West Virginia – 4/14 (28.6%), 29 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 31.7 rating. Hudson Card (2020-2022): September 11, 2021 @ Arkansas – 8/15 (53.3%), 61 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs, 87.5 rating. Quinn Ewers (2022-2024): November 12, 2022 vs. TCU – 17/39 (43.6%), 171 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 75.3 rating.
  18. Bama seems shocked that FSU is running the gus bus O and they look to be stuck in quick sand. On O, the FSU DL is winning up front
