  1. Holy shit … undefeated on the road in the post season….
  2. I started on a long post discussing the foolishness of using averages to hen dealing with unbalances talent levels in a rate based concept, but it is blatantly obvious it would be pointless in this situation….
  3. Evergrande will struggle to revive its debt restructuring plan So the first deal fell apart and they are giving them one last chance before liquidation. Liquidation would be an abject disaster and the potential for this to domino is a major concern.
  4. Looks like he is saying "Run right" and then the DC calls his alignment...
  5. You guys got jobbed... Farmagetten is no more I guess
  6. Well don't forget that at least 3 other members of the staff for CMU have ties to Michigan or the current Michigan staff... If I were a person pointing fingers I would say Jake Kostner, the QB coach, who was a student assistant at Michigan from 15-18, would be where I would start...
  7. Damn.... this is the first real set of large scale viewpoints of college coaches.... Not a good luck for the Michigan fans that say nobody cares or it doesnt mean anything..
  8. I don't think it was really him, but the argument would be that he was helping out CMU using last year's MSU signs to see how well it worked so potentially an in state rival would lose to a MAC team...
  9. So this is potentially Stallion at the CMU vs Michigan State game. I don't think it is him. I think it is a GA for CMU. But the sheer insanity that we are even considering it as a possibility speaks to how little people have trust in Michigan to police this or how little people have faith in the idea that Michigan wouldn't send their sign spy guy to see if they can help embarrass Michigan State by losing to CMU.
  10. So this game was played on Sept 1st in East Lansing and UM played their opener exactly 24 hours later in Ann Arbor...
  11. Dabo melts and blows up on a fan for a 5 minute diatribe on his radio show... Here is a better version that has the question that got him all pissed in it...
  12. This has been my premise from the start because no school wants to have to the PI on their open to the public reporting..
  13. LOL Well that was the gist of most of it...
  14. Well if you have either a crisis management or PR firm involved, it should be considered center square as a given. Nothing in all of that means anything other than he has been advised to not say anything.
  15. This also goes back to the rumors of warning teams about the ball boys as well. Just because teams are very suspicious about Michigan's level of knowledge of their play calls and designs does not mean that teams had any idea at the level they were going. People were suspicious of the level of information Michigan had about play calls and went and picked approaches that they thought were logical explanations. Just by looking through old-fashioned examples of gameday gamesmanship, teams know some teams push the rules to get an edge. So with MeCheaten, some thought it was sideline shenanigans, some thought it was old signs or playbooks being passed about, and it makes me wonder if some of the wild rumors teams blamed it on extra spotters in suites. All of those things are teams just trying to get a grip on a phenomenon that supposedly happens in a game in real-time and trying to come up with an in-game counter to stop this real-time activity. None of it those types of issues are something that you can combat when the cheating is not happening in game in real-time but instead through a concerted effort to decode signs through earlier obtained sideline video and pairing with other data well before the game ever started. I think teams are so angry about this because everyone was used to guarding their systems from an in-game real-time issue and so no one was really prepared for something of this level of sophistication. I think this is the biggest issue here and why now people have such a visceral reaction to the concept.
  16. So where does it say it has to be a staffer? So where in that does it say it has to be a staffer instead of someone being paid by the staffer?
  17. This falls more into teams knew something was up and for the most part blamed the ball boys instead of the flat-out insanity of thinking Michigan had already recorded their sideline and deciphered their entire set of signs before the game ever started. It is always easier to blame the old-school techniques that people just assume happen vs. stretching your imagination to come up with a form of cheating that they wouldn't have used/heard of in the past...
  18. Sounds like MeCheaten has had a long history of shady things regarding sidelines before this..
  19. Funny enough it looks to have been something that is Post-COVID. Since it began in 2021 they have "scouted" 30+ games. I wonder if this was something they cooked up over COVID when they were playing games in empty stadiums and could really see how hard it was to ID signs in game, even without the added distraction of the crowd and crowd noise and all the extra people on the sideline.
  20. The stats I am most curious about at this point all fall back to keeping drives on schedule. How many drives for the opponents got off schedule by knowing it is a run on 2nd down and it gets stuffed to push it to 3rd and 6 or so? How many play-action bombs became sacks or picks because they knew it was a pass? How many how many 3rd or 4th and shorts were stopped because they knew it was instead going to be a some sort of quick pass? How many of the stats for their pass rushers were inflated? All of these would be manipulated by all of this.
