  1. Jub is one of my favorite hosts. I love the Father-Son dynamic him and Gordo have. I can only assume anyone who thinks Jub is the least funny host on the Ticket hasn't listened to a second of Donny.
  2. If the next article is about burnt eggs and soggy Lucky Charms I'm gonna lose my shit
  3. I, for one, am excited about Jake and Dan.
  4. In my head I starting running through, what I believe, would be the most shocking lineup developments to emerge on Monday. One was bringing Rocco back and teaming him with Gordo from 10-12. Then I starting wondering what happened to Rocco, so after a quick search, it appears he landed on his feet as a bartender in Santa Monica. Another would be David Robinson and Johnny Showtime bringing back the Hot Spot but on their first segment they throw punches to finally settle the ruckus from years past, then move on like nothing happened.
  5. I'm not a TV snob by any means, so when I was shopping for a patio TV, I went to Best Buy and bought the best picture for less than $300. I ended up with a Vizio. I would never buy one as my primary living room TV, but I figured outdoor TVs are disposable, so why over spend? It lasted 6 years in Abilene and is still going strong.
  6. They knew there was 0% chance he re-signed so they basically got a 2nd round pick for him. I agree that they should have dealt him sooner, but their backs were against the wall today.
  7. As someone who hasn't listened to a single second of 105.3, what am I missing? Is it just the typical generic sports talk? These ratings numbers are surprising.
  8. The more I listen to Corby, the more I think there's no way he stays in the afternoon drive time slot. Right? Please? Cat/Dan Bennett/whoever the fuck makes the call has to know that BAD would do much better there. Any chance in hell that happens? I know time slots mean less now days with streaming, but the new iteration of The Hardline is going to get destroyed in afternoon drive. The only saving grace might be Ben and Skin moving to an earlier time slot.
  9. For real. Still can't believe this is what we're going with.
  10. Think Becky can get us a couple buckets?
  11. In South Austin's mom
  12. An Irish Car Bomb donut would be a great way to get your day started
  13. The charred area is in the middle, towards the top. The wreckage came to rest near the light brown dirt patch.
  14. I had an overnight in LA on Friday so I rented a car and drove out to the crash site just to get a feel for it. They had a few parking lots blocked off probably to keep assholes like me from loitering, so I had to go behind the school that was across the street from the Water Dept building that the crash occurred behind. It was late afternoon, so there were a few shadows on the couple trees on that hill, but it definitely looked like there was a charred spot further up the hill that looked like an impact site, and the wreckage rolled down the hill to its final resting spot. I hadn't seen this in any pics, so either I just missed it, or it was a shadow and I'm just blind. If that was in fact the impact location, I see why they said they were 20-30' from clearing the top. It looked more like 50' to me but who's counting. Either way, I don't see how there was a 2000 fpm decent before the impact. If there was, then the helo was going to easily clear the hill but then in the final seconds took a dive towards the ground. I'll try to post some pics if they turned out. And since I was in town, there was no way I wasn't going to that game. I bought a ticket on the street about 30 minutes before tip for more than I'd like to admit, but once again, my ass was going to be in Staples for the ceremony. Like SBbruin said, it was extremely emotional. I was doing fine until they started showing pics of Kobe and Gigi together and then the allergies flared up. For the first and only time in my life, I was a Laker fan, but Dame Lillard had other plans. Either way, I'm glad I was there and it's a night I will never forget.
  15. The math isn't adding up for me. A 2000 fpm descent for over a minute means they were over 2000' AGL at some point, which they never were. They might have had a 2000 fpm descent, but there's no way it was more than a few seconds right before the impact.
  16. Divided but with a 66/33 split. Enough room on the big side to wash pans and cookie sheets, and a perfectly sized area on the small side to plug it up to soak smaller shit or wash fruits/veggies. We have something like this and I'll never go back to a traditional split.
  17. Mascot McMascotface
  18. Tell me more. Do I have to sign into Prime on my TV for it to work or is it still through DTV?
  19. This is exactly what's happening. The channel works until game time then bam, channel not available.
  20. I moved from Abilene to Dallas last year. When in Abilene, I was somehow at the nexus of the universe and was able to get FS Dal, Hou, and SA. Now that I'm in Dallas, I can only get FS Dal which sucks because no Spurs. I called DirecTV and the woman in Delhi seemed very confused but offered me the "Sports Package" for 3 months free of charge, which didn't add the channels in question. So anyone know of a way to get these channels out of your region? If I have to do NBA League Pass I will, but would rather not have to take out a second mortgage to watch the Spurs struggle to make the 8 spot this year.
  21. This turn of events hits close to home
