I will be there to drink all your booze and eat all your breakfast tacos. Instead of stumbling through a Dollar General at 6am to find guac while still completely hammered from the night before, I'd rather contribute monetarily if able.
Ticket prices coming down from where they were last week. Can easily get into the upper deck vistor's section for less than $350 with all fees. Last week they were $400-450.
We're leaving Dallas Thursday night, spending the night in Vicksburg so I can hit the craps tables, then pressing to T-Town on Fri morning. We're staying at the Hampton Inn there.
I confirmed with both the Texas and Bama box offices that we received ZERO lower level tickets as the visiting team because we did the same to Bama last year.
Maybe this is not the forum or maybe it is, but from a person that's never owned or driven an RV and is thinking about renting one and parking in this lot, what do I need to make sure it has? I'm guessing I need a full water tank to be able to use the shower and shitter and a generator for power?
I've asked twice and no one has answered but I refuse to STFU until I get an answer. Does anyone know when we get our ticket allotments? As in, when will more tickets hit the secondary market? Anyone?
I just booked rooms at the Hampton Inn East if any of you fucks are out there. I'd like to do the RV thing but this is just a back up. When do ticket allotments go out? And have we confirmed which sections we'll be in?
I'll be there with a buddy so count us in.
Now that I've confirmed that important part of the journey, time to look for tickets, rooms, and a way to get there.
A buddy and I flew up to Calgary for the game. I don't have many details to report because I had basically been drinking for 36 hours straight at puck drop, but it was fun and the fans were actually pretty cool. The Saddle Dome was a lot quieter than I imagined. I don't think the AAC is a loud building but it definitely has more energy than the Dome. It helped that we crushed their spirits a minute into the game. The beers were cheap, the poutine was hot, and I fully support 18 year old girls drinking legally. There's also a casino next door to the Dome which is a nice touch when you haven't blown enough money already on your trip.
My family and another are heading down to Port A this weekend for SB. We have 7 kids between the 2 families, the oldest being 11 and the youngest 3. We have a VRBO a few minutes from the beach. We're only down there for 3 days/3 nights, so not a ton of time to hit everything, but this is what I have planned and I want you all to tell me why this itinerary is a bad idea and how I can improve it.
