  1. Saw this on the news and wept. The pic I saw looked like a 356 and a 911R.
  2. Glad it was us that put an end to Dirk's career.
  3. Just Netflix and Catfacts
  4. Based on what? His only success came as a stand-in for Kerr when he was out, but even Derka could win 70 with that roster. And he's done jack shit in LA.
  5. I like this. How do people usually get their chairs back home? Wouldn't checking them on the flight destroy them?
  6. I love my 2016 Sierra, but the one thing I hate about it is the ride. The Rancho shocks on the Z71 suck, and I'm surprised GM continues to use them on their new trucks. I've heard the non-Z71 trucks ride better, but still not great. Pick up the February (I think) edition of Car and Driver and they did a comparo of the Big 3 American 1/2 tons. The newest of the group, the Silverado, finished last, mostly due to the rough ride and shitty interior compared to the F-150 and Ram. I'm as big of a GM loyalist as anyone, but I think Ford has them beat in every important category for full size trucks and SUVs.
  7. Breaking news: we suck on the road. Then again, we lost to Charlotte at home so maybe we just suck. I still want Hou in the first round.
  8. Duke, Mich, Purdue, UNC
  9. Thanks for the responses. Although many of you are suggesting I run from hole to hole, my plan was to bring my own cart and just drive. It'll keep me off my feet and give me a place to put my cooler, phone, metal chair, and air horn. My plan for walking the course was to follow the first group from 1-18 just to see every hole, then head to 16 since that is my favorite hole from a spectator stand point. My favorite hole on the course is 13 but you're so damn far from the green that I don't think I'll want to spend much time there. I actually only got tickets for Sunday, but I'll be arriving in Augusta on Friday. Where are the best bars and/or places to watch on Saturday?
  10. It's been #1 on my bucket list for as long as I can remember and it looks like I may have talked my way into a pair of tickets for the weekend. I'm looking at flying into ATL, renting a car, and driving the 2-3 hours to Augusta. Of course hotels are slim pickings so AirBnB will probably be the way I go. For those that have been, what should I know?
  11. 5 second call flashbacks
  12. Officials still going in dry on ISU
  13. WE HAVE ONE MORE ROAD WIN THAN THE CHICAGO BULLS
  14. If you're into breweries, Revelry might be one of my favorite in the country. Cool rooftop seating area and an awesome beer selection. Their "God's Favorite" is a 9% Belgian Strong Ale that is my favorite on the menu. All the night life is on King St, but it's a younger crowd. My favorite bars are Prohibition and Cocktail Club. I don't have good food recs because I'm always with cheap enlisted aircrew on my trips, but The Rarebit is a really good late-night food option that serves breakfast until close.
  15. I have no clue who he is, but he's not Jeff Heath, so I'm all for this move.
  16. Considering our other home loses to shitty eastern conference teams like ORL, CHI, and CHA, I knew this would probably be the team to break the streak.
  17. I'm not getting my hopes up regarding this win streak. All the big wins have been at home, which has never been their problem. Show me a quality win on the road and maybe I'll be a believer. debbiedowner.gif
  18. Portland is always one of those teams that either blows us out or keeps it close. This is a good win. On the subject of first round matchups, give me Houston all day. Pop owns D'An, and Harden will just play hero ball and probably fuck it away like every other year. I don't want GS for obvious reasons. Denver is young but playing at altitude is one hell of a home court advantage. OKC is just never a good matchup for us, and Russ and Paul George are just gamers.
  19. Us beating UNC is one of the greatest mysteries in the history of time. They'd beat us by 30 right now.
  20. There will be literally dozens in attendance for our opening round NIT home game against Hofstra.
  21. That's great unless you're on Tricare and live in a small town where only 2 doctors are "in network". I'd love to be able to drive to DFW and pick my doc but that's not the reality.
  22. Sure, if its after the 4th round. I love LJH, but let's be honest, he's not a game changer at the next level. I'd love for him to prove me wrong.
