  1. I wish we could play the Mavs every game.
  2. It's so encouraging watching every other team get better this week while we re-sign a 37-yr old fossil that was broadcasting last year and lose 2 players to weed. 2019 Super Bowl champs!
  3. Confirmed: DP is on Surly.
  4. I've flown in and out of the worst third world countries with no problems.
  5. The owner should obviously be arrested for not making the shed ADA compliant.
  6. What's the point of this thread? You're asking people's opinions if this is institutional racism and when people say "no", you're arguing with them that they're wrong. Just tell me what I'm supposed to say so you will STFU.
  7. We'll win this game because we're at home. And also because we lost last game which means we're due. We're the NCAA bball version of a Jason Garrett led team.
  8. Baseball blows a 6-run lead and basketball blows a 19-point lead, all within 2 minutes.
  9. My 3rd grade CYO team knew how to break a zone better than this team.
  10. Here's the team I'm used to!
  11. Yep, but until it's legal for players to smoke it, they need to put the blunt down or deal with the consequences. What's stupid is to throw millions down the shitter for weed.
  12. What a worthless fucking stat. That's like saying "North Dakota St will have more Top 5 draft picks than Alabama in 2016". Who gives a shit?
  13. There's no better morale boost like a 150 kt ground speed over the north Atlantic.
  14. Worst coaching or possession ever? Where you been the last 4 years? This is a weekly occurrence.
  15. I'm going to assume you'll be posting the webcam link here shortly.
  16. That's easy when there's no track.
  17. Only 2 needed anything more than minor repairs.
  18. He wasn't ROTC. He was attached to the ROTC unit as the Marine equivalent of an AF 1st Sergeant. Probably dealt with PT and teaching some military customs courses or something.
  19. I actually ran into this guy at a bar in Oxford a few months after the game. He saw my UT hat and started chatting me up. I didn't even realize who he was until he started talking about it. He said he thought MG was going to do a "shhhh" to the crowd (as noted above), and he was going to have none of that. It was graduation weekend and a bunch of ROTC Marines had just graduated, so that dude actually invited me to their after party. I won a beer pong tournament that night with a 19 yr old brunette, stopped drinking well after the sun came up, and went to Waffle House with a group from the party for breakfast. When they dropped me off at my hotel room, I went straight to my truck and drove to Little Rock without sleeping. /csb
  20. Touring package is so clean. But either way, if you're getting a GT3, you have to get a unique PTS color. Silver and red don't do that car justice.
  21. Suit is maybe a shade lighter than a traditional navy. Interview is for a major airline, where everyone on the panel will probably be over 45. I know black is the safe bet, but I'm wondering how out of place I'll look with brown or burgundy. I like the look much better, and a part of me thinks I'm overthinking this and they won't give a fuck what color my shoes are. So is brown/burgundy perfectly acceptable in a setting like this, or is it the equivalent of wearing a skinny tie? These questions are coming from a guy that's worn a flight suit every day for the past 11 years and only wears suits to funerals or weddings.
  22. Interwebz is telling me black shoes are the most conservative look with a blue suit for an interview, but I personally think this looks like shit. When choosing between brown or burgundy/oxblood, which is seen as more formal ? I prefer burgundy but don't know if this is conservative enough for an interview.
  23. Yep. The only things I no-shit can't manipulate from the left seat are the LAIRCM panel and the VHF/UHF secure radios.
  24. I could fly a Herk single-pilot no problem. Only inconvenience would be the slight lean forward and to the right to raise and lower the gear, and to work the hydraulic panel. Everything else can be done from the left seat with ease.
  25. Sure, but he didn't do that. He caught the ball and fell then threw it out of the endzone. Since he wasn't down by contact, he could have gotten up and ran with it unless they're playing hybrid NFL/NCAA rules or something.
