  1. If the Coyote retires, I'm done.
  2. Make the shirt burnt orange and it'll be my new game day shirt.
  3. Mason Inn but it'll be packed.
  4. I'm in again
  5. Think they get the LHN?
  6. Since we're throwing out DC recs... -Duke's Grocery in Dupont is probably the best burger I've ever had. It's a small neighborhood spot with limited seating and I think it's gotten pretty popular, but worth the wait if there is one. -Pizzeria Paradiso is a good brick oven pizza spot with probably the best beer selection in DC. I'd estimate they have over 200 beers in house, with several hard to find varieties. There's a location in Dupont, Georgetown, and Alexandria. -The DC Exes spot is Duffy's, which is a dank Irish bar with pretty good wings. Get them Chesapeake style with a sauce on the side. Right next door is the Wet Dog Tavern, which has a little bit of a douche factor, but is a good day drinking spot with some decent craft beer selections. -If you're doing the tourist thing and want a quick bite, GCDC is a "gourmet" grilled cheese spot that's about 2 blocks from the White House. I'm a grilled cheese fan, so I love this spot, plus they have outdoor seating in a prime people watching area. They serve beer too. On the Metro vs. Uber front, the Metro is convenient, there are stops everywhere, and the trains run often enough where if you miss one you usually won't wait longer than 15 minutes to catch another. However, Uber in DC is pretty damn cheap, so it's hard to beat in and around town, and there are drivers everywhere so you usually won't wait longer than 3 minutes to get a car.
  7. Replace the tongue with a cigarette and give him some stubble to turn the surlyness up to 11. Either that or have a Derka Dog hanging out of his mouth.
  8. I know zero details on this incident, but I'm assuming they kept their gear down after suspecting the blown tires. And if you have any sort of gear/tire malfunction, and your gear are down and locked, the last thing you want to do is retract them. Since you don't have enough fuel to fly to London with your gear down, you land somewhere close.
  9. Would it be too much to ask for the media to link the Koda Martin story with this one to show that Jimbo's staff would rather break NCAA rules than prioritize players' health and safety? Randolph Duke to the white phone...
  10. Negged for confusing two of the most heart breaking seasons in Longhorn history.
  11. Anything left in the wreath fund?
  12. Not really interested in a Cayman. If I went P-car, it would be a 911 no doubt. And if I went 997, it would be a .2 for sure due to the DI engine and other upgrades. The E46 is intriguing, but I've never driven one. Honestly never been a big Bimmer fan in general but the Leguna Seca Blue E46 will always do something for me. I haven't driven a stick since probably high school and just miss rowing gears, and the M3 seems like a fun, easy to drive car that I could take out on the weekends. I could just save my money and wait for the right 911/NSX/Supra, but I live my life one irrational decision at a time, so why not M3?
  13. Well yeah, if you're a qualified pilot that knows how and where to taxi.
  14. Looks like he taxied out to 16C and took off, smoking brakes and all.
  15. I really want to know if he taxied all the way to an active runway or just used whatever taxiway was in front of him to takeoff. Finding a usable piece of concrete for a takeoff roll without hitting another plane or going off into the dirt is more impressive than the shitty barrel roll.
  16. I have a 10-second LS1 Z28 that I bought in college that I will never get rid of, so if I want just straight speed, I have that covered. But I'm in my mid-30s, and a 4th-gen Camaro isn't exactly what I want to be driving to Cars and Coffee. I want something that is fun, turns heads, that I can drive to work once a week then take the wife out for a date on the weekend. That's why I was shooting for something a little more exotic and rare that won't completely break the bank. I've never been a fan of the 996, but a Viper is intriguing. I've never been a Mopar fan, and I know Vipers tend to be pieces of shit, but I don't mind turning wrenches.
  17. For the past year or so, I've been trying to find a toy for under $40K. This all started when I found someone selling a '97 Supra TT M6 on base for $35K. I missed out on it but it got the wheels in motion. Since, I've been trying to find a Supra, NSX, or 997 for under $40K but that's pretty much impossible right now unless you want high mileage. At my price point, I think I've talked myself into a E46 M3. Can someone talk me out of this? I have zero Bimmer experience, but my dad owned an early 00s 7-series and it was a piece of shit. It would have to be Leguna Seca Blue.
  18. R.I.P.
  19. Was anyone else surprised and disappointed to see that Choo wasn't shipped off before the deadline? I figured with his recent hot streak, some team would be willing to accept his shit contract if it got them another decent bat in the lineup.
  20. Can't go wrong with a classic Dirt Bike quote.
  21. Call the cops with an anonymous tip that he has threatened to blow up a mall/store/school/etc and he has mentioned in the past that he knows how to make various types of bombs. That should be enough for a no-knock warrant that could uncover some illegal activity or at least lead to some lulz. That or the classic banana in the tail pipe.
