  1. Wild Card Trivia Time: 6 wildcards have won the Superbowl, about 12% since it started in 1970. 2 have been #6 seeds, as the Titans are this year. Since the wild-card round of the playoffs started in 1970, 10 wild-card teams have advanced to the Super Bowl. Six have won the Super Bowl -- the Oakland Raiders (1980), Denver Broncos (1997), Baltimore Ravens (2000), Pittsburgh Steelers (2005), New York Giants (2007) and Green Bay Packers (2010). Of those, six won the Super Bowl. Only four of those wild card teams -- New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and Green Bay Packers -- won three games on the road to make it to the Super Bowl. Since 1990 when the NFL expanded it's playoff format to include six teams from each conference, only two six seeds have gone on to win the Super Bowl. The 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers and 2010 Green Bay Packers won it all from the low spot on the totem poll.
  2. for a second, I thought I was on the football board. Phew! Yeah, but seriously, the poors browns and blacks get it disproportionately. Life in barren solitary 23 hours a day with no tv or radio is mental torture which is worse than death. So, that's the solution.
  3. it is, I assure you. Look, the article mentions the missing CCTV footage, a known fact and thusly a clear indication of the veracity of it's entire scope.
  4. https://waterfordwhispersnews.com/2020/01/17/todays-election-lies-promises-cock-ups/ Coroner Accidentally Burned Jeffrey Epstein’s Body & Dumped It In Ocean WHAT is being labeled as a ‘simple’ administration error that ‘could have happened to any one of the bodies’ being stored in the New York City coroner’s office, the body belonging to billionaire sex trafficker and friend to the famous and the powerful, Jeffrey Epstein, has been mistakenly destroyed via burning before being dumped in the Atlantic ocean. The latest unfortunate coincidence comes after the CCTV footage in Epstein’s cell, which could have shown conclusively whether or not he committed suicide, was deleted accidentally. With the autopsy also concluding the paedophile committed suicide, authorities have admitted it is a ‘shame’ a second autopsy cannot be carried out on his body. “While it is not normal procedure to accidentally to burn a cadaver, douse it in acid, and then burn it again before mixing it with the ashes of other corpses and then sailing 25 miles out to sea to dump it. We accept that this was just an unfortunate mistake which needs no further investigation,” confirmed police not looking into the incident. As the sailing boat, registered to a man named Itani Mulli, involved in the incident evaded detection at sea there is no way of pinpointing the exact location of the remains of Epstein, who counted the world’s rich and powerful among he closest friends. “I think the public knows the difference between an honest mistake and a sinister cover up, so they’ll be happy to know we’re not wasting valuable police time by reexamining a simple error,” confirmed a NYPD spokesperson.
  5. this isn't the same WPH guy from years past, is he? Anyway, agree with the statement, "yeah lets set up in a foreign nation to defend ourselves!" . If the local sand people hate us, they hate America!
  6. i get meat and seafood from Tom Thumb and produce, nuts from Sprouts. Top quality and prices in both categories from each. I've lived in Austin and Houston for 15 years and HEB didn't stand out as the very best, not bad , but not Everest either.
  7. Tom Thumb is the best with Sprouts a solid second.
  8. next year will be Miami and so will the Superbowl just 2 or 3 weeks later. the Semis will be Rose & Sugar
  9. lots of Texas guys on the national level -- Simms, Brian Jones, Acho, sometimes Ahmad Brooks and some whom I can't remember (not counting LHN)
  10. Good to know Houston has fresh legs coming off the bench in Chandler and Nene
  11. Melo had 18 and 12 boards on 7-10 shooting. Nice to bench his ass last year Houston.

  13. old school guys care about the HOF. I don't think anyone would be upset from today's game.
  14. since Fromm is gone too... Auburn has to be the SEC favorite right? Especially with 5* RB Cartavious incoming.
  15. my 20 % was a ballpark guesstimate. I've seen figures of uninsured from 25mil to 45mil Americans, so i was giving a fat estimate as the upper limit of newcomers. On the political front, if the Dems can deliver better healthcare, more hospitals, clinics and EMS to the outer rural areas -- they are going to clean up in the elections. I'd say go for it, we want to save American lives don't we?
  16. yet the same In Network doctors accept Medicare Supplement insurance from United Healthcare.
  17. no there won't be a second payment. My mom goes to the same In Network doctors that I can go to via the same carrier -- United Healthcare. There is no extra wait time. The $3.2 trillion is already funded by premiums from employees and employers. Incremental monies can come from cuts in other areas such as military.
  18. it's not going to be exponential, perhaps 20% increase in patients. People with insurance will not pay a second time, because they won't need their private insurance anymore; which employers partially fund as well and will continue to do so to M4A. This is all just a paper change in payment systems, diverting the money away from insurance companies who remain as admins and take some profit, but deductibles and co insurance are eliminated. More funding can come from military cuts.
  19. 4,5,1,2,3,6 1 is way ahead of the other 5.
  20. to clarify, we have the Medicare Supplement which is about $96/month. My mom has United Healthcare and so do I from my job. Same carrier , but her insurance is much better than mine.
  21. dumb analogy. My mom has medicare and goes to the best doctors in the area, pays almost nothing. She's had surgery and paid almost nothing. There is no max out of pocket crap that i have at my job's insurance. It's an awesome value really.
