He’s not an elite talent at this point
*Unless of course he’d signed with Texas, in which case he’d be an elite prospect woefully underrated by those Texas hating recruiting services*

So after a walkoff, you decided that was an intelligent post?
Fucking idiot.

You will be gone by Tuesday also.
53 minutes ago, shadow_operative2.0 said:Certainly not to add any relevance. We know.

I don't recall anyone ever saying that.
The responses to this post (by an idiot poster like me no less) tell a different story. My favorite gem is "Sydir Mitchell being the monster that he's projected to be".
All that said, maybe he gets his shit together (here or elsewhere). He's still young and talented.

I don't think that's up to the NCAA and conferences. Unlimited transfers are allowed because a court found they were in violation of antitrust laws. They'll have to find a way to do this legally before anything else.
9 minutes ago, Burt Macklin said:If it was just up the conferences, we wouldn’t be in this situation. If the NCAA tries to enforce that rule, they’ll get sued and lose in court.
Ah, that's my bad. I have not been keeping up with the cases. I guess it's just a safe assumption that any kind of limitation is invalid going forward until we fully shift to employee/contract mode.

This is a great idea. The NCAA absolutely needs to pass another rule it can’t/wont enforce. That’ll fix it!
I think NCAA will enforce whatever the SEC and Big 10 want/allow them to enforce. Making transfers sit out a year absent a head coaching change or real family issue seems like a reasonable way to curb the rampant player poaching/transfers. Probably not a good thing for Texas since at the moment we are a net winner of the current landscape.

I don't think he gives a shit. He's auditioning for AG or even a SCOTUS pick if Trump gets re-elected.
Eh, that's not my understanding (on the first part), but I concede I don't personally know him. I think he made a poor judgment trying to straddle the line. Like I said, he'll land on his feet (maybe via the path you suggest), but I don't think it's his desired outcome.

Fed Soc piece of shit applying for his next job. Good going, Garland, you worthless asshole.
FWIW, Hur is getting a frosty reception from the circles he used to run in due to the political shit storm he caused with his report. He'll certainly land on his feet, but it may be a bit more Trump-y than he personally prefers (which I suppose now means he could end up at Jones Day).

I guess I’m an outlier. Yes, the cinematography was good not great. Some of the CGI stuff looked raw. The script was weak, especially when you consider what they decided to leave out.
If you enjoyed it, awesome. I’m glad I saw it in a IMAX theater. It would have been worse on a regular screen or on a TV.
The only CGI that sucked was the arena crowd, in my opinion. That’s going to age super poorly. But a minor complaint overall

We gotta keep choice and this doesn't help. Recruiting is just fine but this puts him on the radar for some second tier program desperate for a HC that brings a recruiting bump and willing to take a chance on a position coach.
Hopefully Sark already has a plan to steal the second best RB coach from whoever.-

Had to say goodbye to one of my best friends of the last 14 years today. Her name was Avery.
At 8 weeks old she was left tied up in front of my future father in law's vet clinic. Freshly out of college and trying to figure out wtf our life would be, my then girlfriend and I decided she could stay with us until claimed (because of course someone couldn't have abandoned this incredible but insane little puppy?).
She was still there for us a year later when we returned home from our wedding and honeymoon.
She was still there for us another year later when we moved cities for law school.
She was still there for us three years later when we packed up what little we owned and moved across the country to New York City.
She was still there for us six years later while we quarantined in our Manhattan apartment during the early weeks of the pandemic.
She was still there for us the next two very trying years while we tried and failed to start a family.
And she was still there for us last year when we brought our son home from the hospital.
She was a good dog, and she was loved.

Her parents were millionaires and allowed her do pursue her passion with zero risk at an early age. Got her into meetings with labels. You seriously don't think money plays a part in life in general? She wasn't some starving artist playing shitty venues in shitty cities, living hand to mouth and risking it all to pursue her dream. She was manufactured at an early age to have a huge safety to not fail. And even if she didn't pan out, would have just pursued her next venture.
This is the same concept as millionaires starting a business venture vs someone in low/middle class. Entirely different risk levels involved and the millionaires have the money to move it along most don't.
I don't care about her music one way or the other. She's just a generic pop act with little substance and a huge following. Good for her. But to pretend she's some big underdog story? Lol./
1. You have any receipts on the “millionaire” claim (as if that is even remotely determinative)?
2. You are arguing against yourself. Zero (0) people claimed Swift is a rags to riches story. But the total number of affluent white girls who have swung and missed in the music industry would exceed the grand weight total of the nasty ass women who allow you into their bed.
I realize being a pair of fucking imbeciles is a long-running shtick for you and Helobious, but you could try a little harder.

There is a kind of admirable nobility when the board tells you how completely stupid and pathetic your posts are on this subject, and yet you have the intestinal fortitude to double and triple down.
Kudos my friend
……. but I like your concept that every living-through-their-kids sports obsessed parent who gets professional training for their kid means that the kid will be a superstar in that sport. So that makes sense. Also that having a dad who is a fucking Merryl Lynch stock broker is some kind of golden ticket. Just hysterical levels of stupidity across all topics.

lol wut. This would be a non-story if the Niners chose to kick in OT, but the fact their coaching staff clearly made the wrong choice and their players weren’t well-informed about the OT Rules shows a lack of preparation for by the coaching staff, which is a huge story because it may have swung the outcome of the Super Bowl.
It seems like there is a healthy and reasonable debate about whether it was or was not the right choice, particularly given the sudden death third possession. Math/simulations discussed at the below link. But logic certainly dictates that you don’t want to give Mahomes the ball with the advantage of knowing what he needs to do.
