  1. Sabonis needs to go on a 2007 Dirk hike in the wilderness this off-season. Just an absolute de-pantsing.
  2. Think this game is far from over
  3. Curry having a fuck you game, but this Ws team has seemed cursed since the Draymond punch. I’ll be really surprised if they pull this out. They desperately need something out of Klay.
  4. Sabonis has to have one of the most punchable faces in the league. His whine face is just so bad.
  5. I realize he isn’t technically active at this moment, but Nick Nurse might be my first call. I would have him in the Spo/Kerr convo, and then I guess Lue. Carlisle and Pop are longer in the tooth, but give them players and I bet they still belong. I also can’t believe how good Mike Brown is now. I thought he was terrible in his previous stints, but he’s been super impressive in SAC.
  6. Sabonis is a good player, but he has been supppperrr underwhelming this series.
  7. Probably like 90% chance? Otherwise it’s a really stupid plot point that I think these writers are too good for. Pretty obvious that Shiv had a heavy hand with the kill list, with Gerri, my future wife Karolina, and Tom all surviving. Of course it won’t “work out” for Shiv in the business sense just like it won’t for Kendall and Roman. This series concludes with all three being broken, obscenely wealthy people without a true compass or purpose.
  8. Trae is one ugly ass, annoying mother fucker, and not even that good of a shooter to boot. But that was dope.
  9. Who’s up for Knicks Heat round 2? Lets goooo
  10. it’s kind of insane. Regular season Jimmy is like a top 40 player, and playoff Jimmy is a top 10-12 player. He’s like bizarro James Harden
  11. I feel like we do the top 10 thing every year, always fun. I have a hard time ranking Wilt and Russell and other 60s guys, so I usually cheat and just do post 1970, but I guess 4th and 5th seems right. MJ, LBJ, Kareem, Russell, Wilt, Magic, Bird, Duncan, Kobe, Curry. Plenty of room for arguments for 8-15 or so (Hakeem, Shaq, Oscar, Jerry West, Durant). Not much room for arguing about the top 8.
  12. I blacked out for a few months there with a newborn, but did aggy ever get anything more than an NCAA letter for their 12th man NIL thing? I remember much gnashing of teeth at the time and talks of schools complaining to the NCAA, but wasn’t sure if they had to walk anything back. Maybe not enough time has passed.
  13. Brooks is a traffic cone. Guy would fit in with the shit basketball played in the 90s, but he doesn’t belong in this league.
  14. This is the obvious answer. Speak No Evil from last year was fucked but also awesome, unlike ASF
  15. I’ve been a huge bitch about our defensive line recruiting. If we could get Bear to go with Mitchell, I’d feel wayyyyy better about our outlook. Get it done
  16. Yep. There is so much shit pulled directly from Unscripted. And the Pierces are pretty obviously based on the Bancroft family.
  17. I like what Dame has done, because I’d prefer guys stay with one franchise to the extent possible vs the Durant/Barkley/LeBron approach. And fuck the suggestion that Dame, or any player, should taking a dollar less than the max. Their billionaire owner can go in the luxury tax if need be.
  18. Day 1 and Day 2 are live from 3pm-7pm.
  19. If I had to guess how the West seeding shakes out, I think (1) GSW loses tonight at SAC and beats Portland on Sunday, and (2) LAL wins their final two against PHX and Utah in Los Angeles, giving the Lakers the 6th seed with the tie breaker over Golden State. That assumes SAC goes all out tonight, which I think they will since they could technically still get the 2 seed if Memphis loses out. Memphis plays the Bucks at 8pm (who will presumably be resting their entire team), so it’s possible they will have clinched the 2 around tip off of Kings Warriors, in which case Kings could pull their starters early.
  20. Honestly it’s more texture than flavor. I find the frozens stay really firm and sometimes have an odd feel when eating. The real onions come out more like stewed onions, and sometimes fall apart. But I agree they are a real pain in the ass to prepare.
  21. Agree on the first point, semi-agree on the second. No, you don’t need a DRC Burgundy, but I find that a quality Pinot or Cote Du Rhône makes a real difference in the flavor. I feel like I usually end up in the $40-$50 range. Another change I make to that Ina recipe (having it made it dozens of times), is to double the mushrooms and use real Pearl onions.
  22. All these references to Ethan Burke do not give me the warm and fuzzies about our pass rush, which I guess is to be expected. And before the Westlake Honks get pissy, I’m sure he’s a great kid from a great family who bleeds burnt orange.
