  1. Ordinarily I’d be all over that, but I don’t think my pregnant wife would tolerate being my DD to tour vineyards. Which is a shame because I fucking love Chenin Blanc. I guess I just need to figure out if there is enough non-wine stuff to do or if it’s worth the hassle of traveling elsewhere.
  2. Looking for his own one person podcast to regurgitate Ryen Russillo takes without any pushback.
  3. Anyone have any Nantes and/or Loire Valley experience? I have a wedding outside of Nantes on July 2, and trying to decide whether to make it a week in the Loire Valley or just take a quick flight to Provence or something.
  4. What’s the best way to get tickets for one of the “if necessary” games? I’d like to get tickets for Game 6 assuming it’s played.
  5. It continues to absolutely stun me that Kidd is a good coach after he was so bad in Milwaukee. This is fun
  6. Segue into 45 minute segment on top 10 Celtics wins of all time.
  7. Holy smokes Tatum. Bill Simmons is going to be intolerable
  8. That sounds like a dope night. I go to the LT1 in Meatpacking often.
  9. Who are folks picking for MIL-BOS tonight? I have a bad feeling Boston is going to pull it out. The Bucks have the best player on the planet plus Jrue Holiday, but I’ve felt all along that Boston had the better team with Middelton’s absence. Hope to be wrong.
  10. The safe bet is Phoenix and I fully expect them to win game 7 at home. But Luka is the best player in the series by a healthy margin, and if they can get a good showing from Brunson and Dinwiddie (the latter a big if, especially on the road), they have a real chance to win, especially if CP3 is no show yet again.
  11. Evidenced by the fact that Eggers has been openly lamenting the fact that he didn’t have final cut on this movie, precisely because of the massive budget. My personal Eggers ranking is 1. The Witch, 2. The Lighthouse, 3. The Northman, but that isn’t really meant as a knock on The Northman. All three are worthy of rewatches and adulation in my opinion. Excited to see what comes next.
  12. Giannis on another level right.
  13. I see Slorch got inspired by James Harden last night and decided to have a vintage, throwback Slorch performance today. Welcome back!
  14. There’s nothing to be torn about. Fans are the fucking worst. Buying a ticket to a game shouldn’t make some mediocre shit head impervious to consequences.
  15. Did you read the question Aggie was responding to, or do you need help?
  16. This mother fucker willing to have back surgery to avoid playing basketball. Legitimately wondering if he’ll ever play in the NBA again.
  17. I’m with you on CP3. Used to be one of my favorite players to root against. His OKC year and his impact on Phoenix won me over even though his antics are tiresome. He’s just such an incredible basketball player. Lol at citing this bum’s opinion as any sort of evidence.
  18. I don’t underestimate it; I know several (mostly because I’m on the hiring committee of a firm who hires them with some regularity, for better or worse). I just find it more believable that one of these admittedly very bright and very ambitious clerks decided to sound the alarm as opposed to one of the 7 Justices not named Clarence or Samuel. Roberts is such an institutionalist, it would shock me. That said, it’s certainly correct that one of the 9 would face no retribution whatsoever, while the clerk (if found) would have their career torpedoed. So maybe I’m wrong. Ultimately doesn’t matter. What matters is that one side is now stacked with activists, and they aren’t stopping here.
  19. You assume the leak came from (or at the direction of) a Justice, and not a clerk? I really can’t imagine a Justice other than Thomas and maybe Alito actually leaking an opinion, but I can definitely imagine a 26 year old clerk taking an extraordinary step like this (on either side of the aisle).
  20. That’s an Oof loss for Memphis. At home, no Draymond, 67 points from Ja and JJJ, Klay misses 2 free throws to ice it, and you still lose.
  21. Maybe not what you are looking for, but John’s of Bleecker (on Bleecker) is the best, and what 11 year old boy doesn’t love pizza? Good immediate area to stroll around, too. If a nice weekend, walk him over to wash square park after for some prime people watching.
