  1. Now I know what it felt like to be an OU fan circa 2010-2021 (particularly 2014-2016). This is fucking delicious
  2. A&M is going to be really bad next year based on their roster. It's quite possible OU and A&M have both hired their Charlie Strongs at the same time (OU has with 100% certainty, they are dumpster fire right now). I'm not convinced Elko is that bad of a hire (maybe closer to a Herman), but things aren't looking great at any position of importance. Fortunately for them their schedule is very manageable next year (especially if LSU continues to be mid), so they might grab another 8 win season.
  3. I was just about to respond similarly. This board was giving Bo Davis a sloppy blow job after the 2022 DT/Edge class. Same thing with Sydir Mitchel. The revolt against Davis came later.
  4. I agree. And, obviously, the willingness to go all in on Terry is a fantastic sign. Personally (and speaking as a complete ignoramus when it comes to NIL allocation), I'd hope that Sark focuses more of his dollars on the DT room rather than chasing this year's Isaiah Bond or AD Mitchell. I think you can have a plus WR room with Wingo, Moore, the current younger guys, the 5 Star freshmen, and maybe you can get Golden at a Whittington price to return depending on his draft outlook.
  5. It takes a special talent to Bagdad Bob our DT outlook for next year, but tex is always up to the challenge.
  6. OU, Ark, A&M, MSU and Kentucky should all be really bad next year. Ohio state will be really tough with an entirely rebuilt offensive line and Arch’s first start. Georgia in Athens, obviously will be a coin flip at best. I expect Florida to be an 8-4 team, but that game will be tough. Overall a manageable path the playoffs even in a rebuild-ish year.
  7. I see 52-80 has taken a break from furiously masturbating to a photo of Elon in order to educate us on the values of a Duke degree to a college athlete. A nimble mind, to be sure.
  8. My in laws typically stay at the Dominick when they visit us. It’s a nice hotel. It’s kind of in between 3 neighborhoods (proper Soho to the east, West Village north, tribeca south), so it’s a good launching point for downtown stuff. Maybe not as good if you are spending all your time in midtown/uptown. It’s fairly commercial in the immediate vicinity (and the holland tunnel is right there, so a fair amount of traffic), so don’t expect to walk out into a quaint little neighborhood, but good stuff is not far away. If you do stay there, you’ll be right by two of my favorite restaurants, Altro Paradiso and King. Frenchette is also like a 10 minute walk downtown.
  9. Having absolutely zero inside knowledge, those are definitely two guys on my radar. We have the best overall safety play we've had since 2005, so not surprising that Filsaime isn't logging real minutes, but I feel like he hasn't made so much as a peep (and as far as I know isn't even getting special teams reps). Gibson probably feels like he should be getting more carries given our limitations, but that fumble a few weeks ago is tough to overcome.
  10. If we lose to Ohio State and Georgia next year and he plays poorly, the dumber contingent of our fan base (ie, the football board) will absolutely be going ape shit, as they are wont to do.
  11. It’s hilarious that you can post something this asinine after presumably living through the Chris Simms experience. He’ll have a very long leash as long as he very quickly meets the expectations you set in your second sentence.
  12. He was very good to great outside of the red zone. Obviously, we sucked as an offense overall in the red area. Personally I’m not sure if that is a Quinn issue or a Sark issue, and I suspect we won’t know until next year.
  13. I will be legitimately shocked if we hit 30 points in any of our remaining games this season outside of maybe ASU. It’s just remarkable given the amount of resources that have been given to that side of the ball. This game will absolutely be a dog fight, especially if we don’t have a sizable lead at half time.
  14. I’m not concerned about the offensive line, but this isn’t really true for Robertson, Neto or Baker. Robertson wasn’t very good against OU last year (understandable), and Baker and Neto don’t get real snaps. Even Hutson, who has played a lot of football, consistently grades out the lowest among lineman with significant snaps IIRC. I think we’ll be fine and perhaps very good by year end, but we’re all aboard the trust the coaches train with the line next year.
  15. I’ve always been team #trustsark/supportquinn, but man there is some juice in this compilation. Also, a few of those clips really show how much less explosive Bond is post-injury.
  16. Haha you idiot, joke is on you, an impending solar flare is wiping out the grid before we can even make it to the national championship, so you won’t even be able SEE Arch Manning. Subscribe to my YouTube page about precious metals and the impending global economic collapse, SHEEP
  17. We literally ran a sensible high percentage play to convert a 4th and 2 with the game on the line. The other team has players and coaches, too.
  18. Except they’ve never said that a single time.
  19. Looks like Alabama/Michigan/first half A&M Quinn showed up. Dude is balling
