  1. 662 yards on defense. On that side of the ball we actually have talent. I am sympathetic to Sark on offense because Tom Herman left the offensive line in absolute shambles, which really hamstrings his play calling. But no excuse on defense
  2. It’s not a shock. They just aren’t good enough to stop it. Tom Herman left this offensive line in shambles.
  3. Give the best player in the country the ball please
  4. Gabriel Kreuther is excellent. Boulud’s new place (Le Pavillon) is also just down 45th street in the new One Vanderbilt skyscraper. I haven’t been but have heard good things.
  5. Thanks for this. I just downloaded the Piedmont and Como episodes.
  6. Exactly. I was thinking back on all the games since I was a Freshman in 06, and I think I can recall exactly two (2) times in the last 15 years that I felt totally confident we would win the game (2006 and 2009). 2019 I felt confident we had the better team, but Tom Herman.
  7. Saw Jeff Tweedy solo last weekend. He opened a new venue in Brooklyn that holds about 400 people. Really nice, low key show. I suddenly have a bunch of shows coming up. Waxahatchee on Monday, a couple of LCD Soundsystem shows in December (they are doing a random 20 night stand), then Mitski, Snail Mail, Big Thief and Porches in the Spring.
  8. Agree on Keilan. Tough to take the ball out of Bijan’s hands, but Keilan needs more than the DJ Monroe package.
  9. Not that its going to matter, but I’m not sure that’s a slam dunk this year. If Alabama and Georgia meet undefeated in the SEC championship game, they are absolutely both getting in. Oregon is in if they win out or go 11-1. And 11-1 OSU with a loss to Oregon probably gets in over 11-1 Texas with a loss to Arkansas.
  10. Outside of the 99 yard drive where they seemed to be playing prevent, I didn’t think they played too bad considering some of our talent deficiencies. Crazy that Anthony Cook might be our best defensive player.
  11. Cook has been such a pleasant surprise this year.
  12. Many thanks. I booked Vietti and will look into the others.
  13. Comedy Cellar. I think he’s been around there and and Union Hall in Brooklyn. Did the omakase at Shuko over the weekend. It was awesome and had a great atmosphere (more NYC than Tokyo sushi bar), but IMHO it hits the wallet a little too hard given the number of good omakase options in the city.
  14. Just booked a last minute trip for this October. 6 nights in Monforte d'Alba during the truffle festival in Alba, and 3 nights in Lake Como. Grabbed a dinner reservation at Piazza Duomo. Need to book some winery visits in Barolo and Barbaresco, and maybe a truffle hunt. My wife and I may be the youngest people there by 40 years, but looking forward to a relaxing trip after 2 years of mostly shit. If anyone has been and needs any recs, I'm all ears. Also need to figure out the transfer from Milan to Alba region, but I'm guessing it is going to end up being a car rental.
  15. If you told us that Herman would take the flaming garbage can of a program Charlie Strong “built” and turn it into an above average but falling short of expectations program, well you were spot on my guy.
  16. I really hope my sarcasm meter is broken because every word of this sentence is fucking brutal on a Texas board.
  17. I just want to say this is maybe the best use of this gif ever
