  1. The is true. I doubt we hear much real complaining from Texas fans if we lose to A&M and get left out of the playoff. If you lose to the only top 25 teams you play, more often than not you don’t deserve to be in.
  2. Sark vs DeBoer scares you to death
  3. Sure, I get it. At the same time, Tennessee lost to Arkansas. Alabama lost to Vandy. LSU lost to Florida. I don’t think this team is a title winning squad, but it’s good to log off and pay attention every now and then
  4. I edited it, doesn’t count!
  5. Bumping this so you get the negs you deserve, fuck face
  6. Go back to the day after Arkansas skull fucked us in 2021, and tell yourself that in 3 years time we will be furious at a 9-1 team (21-3 in 2 years) that just beat Arkansas by double digits on the road. Things could be worse
  7. It’s tough for me to see our offense scoring many points in college station. We’ll need our defense to play damn near perfect. Even tougher to imagine us scoring enough points to beat Bama or Ole Miss or whoever else ends up in the SEC championship game. This feels like a 10-2 regular season team to me
  8. Yes, not everyone can be lucky enough to live in, checks notes, Leander, Texas
  9. You can walk to and from the Graham street L stop. I’ve done it probably a hundred times. The venue itself is directly across from a large housing project; I’ve never felt unsafe after a show (particularly given the large number of people leaving). Once you get west of Kingsland you are basically back in prime Williamsburg. Nothing special about it, but I often stop at Harefield Road for a night cap before hopping back on the L.
  10. That would help but it still probably doesn’t get us in if we lose to A&M absent Ohio State completely embarrassing Indiana. In that scenario, Tennessee, Bama, A&M and Ole Miss are probably all in ahead of us due to SOS, so we still need the SEC to get a 5th team somehow.
  11. No, no, I meant the super secret director's cut, 23rd hour (I kid, fuck me)
  12. 25th Hour. Not sure how I've never seen this given the Spike, PSH and NYC overlay. A little shaggy at times (Barry Pepper, the guy who plays the third friend, was distractingly bad when up against Norton and PSH). Tony Siragusa playing a Ukranian guy (lol), Clay Davis giving a couple sheeeiittts, Brian Cox doing Brian Cox things, Anna Paquin killing it. Loved it. Maybe top 5 Spike for me
  13. There is a very long list of mistakes with Gladiator floating around. An extra laughing during a battle scene, clearly rubber military items, etc.
  14. You have to stop engaging with this guy. He’s borderline futureman
  15. Damn. Lost my 14 year old lab to cancer earlier this year. The pain in Kirk’s eyes really brought me back. Fuck
  16. A few I’ve seen recently: The Substance - liked the first hour, bored with the second. Cronenberg she is not Red Rooms - one of my favorite movies of 2024. Will not forget one particular court room scene. madS - loved it. Quite a ride Heretic - really disappointing. Hugh Grant was very good, but it was silly, one note and bereft of interesting ideas Woman of the Hour - pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this. I knew nothing about this story. Anna K has some chops Rebel Ridge - man this movie needed an editor. Not bad but really sloppy
  17. 27-10, Texas 197 yards for Florida Frustratingly close for most of the game, but our defense won’t allow a point absent the 1-3 short fields we inevitably allow.
  18. Yep. In 2016, you could sort of talk yourself into the 20 years of negative Hillary campaign, Jim Comey, etc. This is just a pretty clear statement of what this country is.
  19. Dude, I love you, but no. This is done
  20. This may be worse than 2016. Think I’m out for the night
  21. I realize it’s taken for granted now, but everyone should go look at what this dumb fuck was saying at this time 4 years ago. Hilarious
  22. Florida is a red state. Just like Ohio, just like Texas. Anyone dreaming of a flip of any of those three is not living in the real world.
  23. What time is Iowa usually called? Certainly don't expect a Harris win, but more interested than usual for obvious reasons.
