  1. Would be much better if it looked like week 1 Rice week 2 Penn St week 3 Stanford week 4 Texas Tech
  2. The schools you named are all G5 schools. Chattanooga, Northern Iowa, Jacksonville St are FCS schools. Nobody is crying if Texas rotates North Texas, UTSA, UTEP, and Rice for one game annually. But when your schedule is: week 1 G5 week 2 P5 week 3 G5 week 4 G5 That shit sucks.
  3. I went to college in Abilene where one of the main B1 bases in the country is located (Dyess AFB) to quote the late great Keith Jackson “when they lit the candle, the crystal rattled.” this just got me even more hyped for the game. A B1 at full burner is LOUD AF. That crowd is going to be fully lathered up come time for kick.
  4. Be honest, did you watch that entire game?
  5. Should probably just stay home and watch it at your mansion on Lake Austin.
  6. Ya, but I would willing to bet you took the Red Line to get there which is a complete cluster fuck of people in herds. Wrigleyville outside is more of the same sea of people.
  7. Stoney Clark, Pete Gardere, Chris Whaley, Jordan Shipley, too many to list.
  8. I’ve been 5 times. Twice before the complete upper deck expansion and 3 times after. What exactly is so unsustainable? It’s crowded, hot, and old. If you’re expecting 2024 amenities from a 96 year old stadium just keep your ass at home. This game is a portal back to the times before club suites and Lexus lounges. Just like attending a game at Wrigley, I know before I go it’s going to be crowded and cramped with long lines. But dammit it’s a majestic experience and hard not to have a reverence for legends of the past when walking in, knowing that Street, Steinmark, Earl, Ricky, Vince, McCoy among many others all played on the same grass now immortals for their Red River heroics. Have some respect for the game.
  9. The RRS is the most unique setting in college football, it’s borderline psychotic some of y’all are just willing to throw that away to go pay Jerry for $17 dollar beers and air conditioning. I mean what a soft bunch a gaping pussies, honestly. I was at the 2018 Big 12 Championship, it is nowhere close to the atmosphere and dynamic. Are some of y’all there to watch the Horns kick ass, or is this just another event to be on the scene to get fucked up at? 31 point win and we’re bitching about running out of beer and piss lines. For fuck sake.
  10. Him and Gibson. Blue is great in the passing game, but his running leaves a lot to be desired.
  11. He falls in love with the pass too much. Ex QBs always do…..
  12. I said if your answer was “yes, I’m opposed to being aligned with SWC/Big-8.” You essentially said you’re not opposed to it so hypocrite doesn’t apply.
  13. We have “nonchalant” Quinn today. This dude seems not to show up for the big ones.
  14. I know, but if they were to answer “yes” to that, it’s quite hypocritical. Despite scheduling multiple blue bloods annually, our home schedule sucked. Then there’s the fact that the little Texas schools go complete jihad against anything Longhorns, yet expects Texas to save them when the rubber meets the road.
  15. Are y’all opposed to being realigned with the Texas and Kansas schools again?
  16. Personally I would like to see more competitive football than beating up on pipsqueaks. Idk why college fans have this mindset of “undefeated beating up midgets is impressive.” Yes, I would prefer a 9-3 team with a hard schedule over 11-1 but I slapped midgets. Again, Oklahoma St, Tech, Kansas St, Iowa can all stay. Baylor, get fucked in a conference with North Texas and UTSA.
  17. Agreed. Whom ever is consulting Texas Tech on their branding is failing miserably.
  18. It’s flabbergasting that schools with such a good base template for uniforms would rather fuck around with unremarkable looks instead of establishing a “brand”/recognizable look. Their unbeveled Tt and with black helmets and black shirts is a fantastic look.
  19. I don’t think we’ll ever get to USC vs Texas games weekly. I see your point, but there are some schools that don’t belong at the highest level of competition and it’s blatantly obvious they’re happy cashing a check with minimal effort (Wake Forest, Purdue, Vandy, etc.)
  20. I disagree, the NFL is a behemoth because any team can win on any Sunday. The networks are tired of shelling out millions and the first week of the season is filled with games like Ohio St vs Akron and Oregon vs Idaho. The fans don’t want it, TV networks don’t want it, we might finally get rid of those shitty games.
  21. That guy is a tool.
  22. This Pavia kid is a gamer.
  23. Checking in for aggy coaster sighting.
  24. See, I take “struggling” with someone as, they’re doing something that’s impeding our progress. Mississippi St did absolutely nothing to slow Texas down. Texas struggled with Texas.
  25. This was the first thing I thought of.
