  1. Longview and SLC tied 10-10 at the half. Longview has a ton of mistakes and a drooped pass that’d be a Td that half.
  2. This is Army’s final game it appears. Marshall has forfeited the bowl game due to too many players entering the portal. This blows. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/marshall-opts-out-of-independence-bowl-vs-army-amid-transfer-portal-exodus-per-reports/
  3. Kilgore vs Celina is a fun state title game
  4. When I was 7 years old I went outside to ride my bike. I saw a mountain lion eating the tires. This was in Longview. This story hits close to home.
  5. Truth featured on Bon Appetit
  6. If you ever get the chance, GO TO THIS GAME. Have seen it twice in Philly and it's just an incredible experience (and those teams the years I went sucked).
  7. Was told from a source who would know this is a done deal and will be announced tomorrow.

  9. Theater recap. Sunset was spectacular. Every part of it was brilliant. I'll be floored if it doesn't win best revival and Nicole best actress and Tom best actor. The technical aspect is out of this world crazy impressive. Saturday afternoon we saw Death Becomes Her. What a fun romp of a campy show. It's not breaking barriers, but it's fun as hell. Megan Hilty is so good (as always). Saturday night we saw Gypsy. It ... is missing something. Joy Woods is a bit lacking in her character I feel. Aurda did great but is miscast imo, and Danny Bernstein as always was a pro. But it just felt stale and ... there. Not bad by any stretch, but lacked some pizazz I was hoping to see. Sunday we saw Eureka Day. A brilliant newish play at MTC. It's great - funny as hell and on point. Probably the best work I've seen MTC do in a while. And the last line might be the funniest line ever written for theater.
  10. Our hotel concierge said Saturday was the city’s biggest hotel capacity night in since 2019, and highest rates ever. They expected it to be the busiest day of the rest of the year given the shirt time between holidays
  11. The offense has sucked shit through a straw for weeks. Two weeks for Dabo to prep to startle Ewers is a major problem for this game. Defense can win games but when the offense gives away balls and missed FGs and has short punts it’s a different animal.
  12. I don’t believe this is a team than can make the tournament. They’re a bottom half SEC squad with no quad 1 wins in pre conference play
  13. Army got fucked with the bowl assignment. Like, c’mon Beat Navy by 50. Go Army beat Navy!
  14. If Texas had an offense that was somewhat decent this game wouldn’t be within 10 points. But we don’t so it’ll probably be a final possession type of game.
  15. Alabama (12) at Texas (5) feels inevitable
  16. Banks should be forced to walk back to Austin.
  17. I’ve never seen the city as packed as it this Saturday. It’s a wall of humans. We had dinner at Twin Tails last night - new place by the Quality Meats team. It was damn good. I’ll recap our Broadway shows Monday.
  18. Our STs are bottom tier in all of CFB, and Ewers is playing like a 3-star freshman. Lucky to be down 4.
  19. Defense will have to score a TD or 2 to win this game unless Sark changes QB (which isn’t happening ).
  20. Bill Belichick interviewed for the UNC job? This can't be real, can it? https://247sports.com/article/unc-coaching-search-bill-belichick-interviewed-for-tar-heels-football-vacancy-after-mack-brown-firing-241358315/ One the other hand, it puts him around 20-something year old girls so maybe true.
  21. #1 and #5 have lost and #2 is down 9 with 15 left in the 2nd.
  22. James Franklin is 1-9 vs top 5 teams and 3-17 vs top 10 teams. They aren’t beating Oregon.
  23. Kilgore and CH at Forney? It’s way too small and out the way. Great choice guys!
