  1. Weadeater, cheez-it's or Gin & Juice. Guess which one I'd rather attend. I think the greatest crime was despite the Ags making the Independence Bowl 3 times over the years that they didn't make it when it was the weedeater bowl.
  2. The curse of Jackie Sherrill can be so deadly

  5. 0-7 vs the Yankees never thought I would see this day #fml
  6. Back in 2019 we stopped in Broadus, MT to get some gin & juice at a local bar. We then asked the bar tender how often people stopped in Snoop Dogg Montana and she stared at us like a dog who had just been shown a card trick and then finally said "you are the first"
  7. I was actually in the Harris County jury assembly hall that day and the stupid fucking cops had Fox News on. The best part was those morons were talking about how the suspects left a self portrait of themselves next to the bomb and that it was flicking off the cops taunting them and so the suspect was known to BPD and would be brought to justice. Then we find out it is just a lite bright kit of the mooninites. You can't possibly be that stupid but here we are.
  8. It was the great Boston bomb scare of 2007 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_Mooninite_panic

  10. Not complaining but this thread will go a lot better if you paste the images and host them on the SURL instead of linking them in where they get 404'd after 2 weeks
  11. I mean minus actually playing a team with a pulse in non conference play (outside of the 3 Mark Mangino specials) this is probably the best schedule the ags could ever get (skipping GA & AL + all hard games at home & all easy games on the road) they still are likely to start the season 4-1 which will cause the coaster to be out of control that they finally found a good corch only to finish in the 7-5 zone and head back to NRG for the Texas Bowl.
  12. The thing is from the bits and pieces I watched from their spring game I'm afraid you may need to seek medical attention.
  13. Hope springs eternal Actual results
  14. Not just Picher but Cardin & Douthat too (as well as Treece, KS across the state line)
  15. You have to remember as a college student in Texas the worst state ever moniker belonged to Oklahoma. As to how/why Bartlesville was the chosen city to be mocked I honestly do not know. I would imagine the cities/towns in western Oklahoma would be far more desolate/terrible.
  16. I'm glad they are OK but how on god's green earth does a Brazilian pop their USA cherry in Bartlesville Oklahoma? Back when I was an MIS major at UT the running joke among the big 6 consulting firms was that was the worst possible destination you could have to visit a client at.
  17. The nexus of the crisis and the origin of storms
  18. Looks like ousux is in the clear.... Lite decidedly less so.
  19. super cells are always single cell just of the intense variety.
  20. Yeah the 26 days between Katrina and Rita were crazy. I remember following the live blog of Michael Bennett who kept the data center operational during the storm and aftermath. https://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2007/11/05/provider-that-survived-katrina-exits-new-orleans That scar tissue from Katrina turned Houston into an absolute clusterfuck for Rita with people over panicking and evacuating when they were under very limited threats completely fucking the roads up. I guess my experience during Hurricane Alicia (also in 1983) had me ready to hunker down and ride it out. We wound up playing flag football at Christian's Tailgate even as the winds were starting to blow in and my buddy from Naperville who had fled the storm initially wound up driving back to Houston in the middle of the storm. On the positive front at least Limas Sweed caught that TD pass at the Horseshoe between those two storms.
  21. I've only ever experienced one and it was back in May of 1983 when I was 6 years old. It came at night too and thankfully it hadn't quite made land fall as it passed over our house but it did wind up touching down in the NE corner of Louetta & Stuebner Airline (diagonally across from Klein High School). Even though it didn't make landfall it still managed to uproot/snap 3 trees and collapse them into our house and as bad as that was it was nothing compared to what happened to the Bass & Meineke which was where it made landfall. I'll never forget the debris field that is something that will be burned into my memory forever. Here was the news report from back then...
